I found a silver G1 Roller in my attic and wanted to know more about it. I don't remember it, I thought my Prime came with the blue one back 1984. I tried to find more on Ebay but they all sell with intact Primes. Should I sell or hold on to it? It is in very good condition, the decales haven't faded and there is even plastic mold flash on the wheels still.
the silver roller came with the very first run of primes that had the metal side plates. he also came with silver misiles.
Cool, I actually have something impressive LOL. Too bad poor Optimus met with a screwdriver when I was younger (alas many a toy went that way). Now please tell me it's worth a small fortune LOL.
for someone trying to complete a metal sided prime, or diaclone, he'd be worth about $20 or so. no more than $30. most metal sided primes i see come with the roller and therefore are cheaper. Now, if this roller has no tab pins on the rear, and is for a 1st run, VERY RARE push arm prime, then i'd say about $30-40
I'll have to try and get some good pics of it and post them someplace. Kinda depressing knowing something so small is worth that much when I had so many G1 figures when I was younger. same with a bunch of other toy lines too.
The TRU reissue I have has a grey / silver one from what I can see - I still have it sealed so can't have a proper look
Well I got the roller sitting here with me (in a zip lock of all things) and the only thing on the back of it are the two cylinders that fed it into the launcher. I could swear that my old blue one had two little tabs on the bottom under the pins to help feed it into the launcher. Am I just being crazier than usual?
