Wow that’s really weird that it happened to two people in very similar ways. Except I got mine in the early 2010’s.

I remember it was my senior year of college, maybe the fall? So it would have been the fall of 2000. I also got TM2 Megatron and Optimal Optimus at the same store.

It's a toss up between Kingdom Cyclonus and Legacy Tarn. I could go either way on different days. Edit: Can't take pictures right now, but once I reorganize my collection in the next couple of months that should be doable.

Planet X Ismenios (with the G1 style kit). Still my absolute favorite figure I own, and he’ll be joined by the Haslab Deathsaurus once it arrives. Still need to pick up MMC’s version too.

Ya I know it can be a tough one to decide….sooooo many great figures out there.

I have many favorites…and they are all outstanding figures….but one always takes the top spot….MP-36.

In terms of personal enjoyment, RiD2001 Optimus Prime. Still one of my favorite figures.

In terms of actual impressiveness, probably TFC Poseison. He's a thing to behold fully put together.

Mine is and always will be my Lucky Draw Black Fire Convoy. I remember absolutely drooling over that toy as a kid and about a year and a half ago I was fortunate enough to get "the coolest Lamborghini 20 years ago had to offer" about a year and a half ago. It shares a shelf with my (very likely) 1-of-1 Lucky Draw silver movie Prime, 2 white Moons, Flash Sentry, Antagony, hard copy Bantor, and a few others. The only two toys that could possibly dethrone BFC are painted pink Tarantulas and GalvaLio Convoy, but the odds of me deciding I'd want to pay for those are pretty low.

A variation of the question has always been asked in @Maz collectors interview

"If you could pick one item from your collection to keep, what would it be?" with sometimes with
added "If your collection is on fire, what's the ONE thing you will absolutely saves"

    https://tfsource.com/blog/category/featured-collectors-corner/

That said, non-TF part of my collections will be OG great Robot Base.
    TF-wise, I actually need to think ...
    EDIT: Micromaster Highjump :D
