$300 might be a bit much then. On eBay they are going for $280-290 sealed in box. Maybe knock it down to $260 since it was opened and you could get some good interest.

Got email today from hasbro customer service asking for my address to send the label so I can mail back the defective one and get the replacement.

 

Same, glad to finally get this fixed.

 

Also got the email today. Nearly 6 months

 

I'm kinda proud of Hasbro taking responsibility like this. I'm now debating if I should actually return mine because I don't know if they changed something drastic. I might just do it and submit more tickets if there are further issues

 

Yeah I'm definitely still uneasy about sending them mine before I see the replacement. I can't imagine my mood if I get one that has even more issues

 

I had the same thought, but they're also not going to let us have 2 and then try to get the other one back from us.

 

Amazon has done it for years and for products that cost a whole lot more.

That's... Not exactly comparable. This is a one-run product and they want to mitigate aftermarket shenanigans

 

Yeah it is a unique case but we are talking about replacing figures that we had to show them pictures of the QC Issues on our individual figures. I get them wanting to prevent the resale of ones people are having replaced by someone being dishonest and not returning but at the same time maybe they should tighten up their QC so this didn't happen in the first place. Taking 6 months to do an unplanned second run is impressive but that is also a long time to wait for a replacement as a consumer

 

This is welcome news. I hope the elevated QC Hasbro is giving to these replacement figures meets expectations, and if so, is carried forward to Murder Death Space Chicken.

Just general improved QC would be great.

 

Also got the e-mail today. Here’s hoping my two replacement copies come back better than what I’m sending them and that my two Deathsauruses don’t have QC issues.

 

And today I got the prepaid label.

Genuinely surprised it's actually happening; had long ago resigned myself to it being unlikely and content with my imperfect fix.

Yup just labeled mine up and dropped it at the post office. I hope they step up QC on HasLab releases now to prevent from this same thing from happening with Deathsaurus.

Either way I applaud them for taking ownership and providing a solution. Hopefully the turn around isn't too bad because even though I had issues on my figure I was able to hide them with how my Victory display is and now it looks so empty without him

 

Yeah, once I saw the complaints I wasn't going to take any chances.
