Dang the red on him really pops and I love the addition of it. Hopefully some of the weird QC issues with Skyquake have been fixed with this one

 

I think I prefer this color scheme 

 

Not really liking the red sword but god I love the way this figure looks overall. Skyquake and Dreadwing are the only two versions of this mould I care about and damn I love the look of them. The cannons for both do need to be bigger though. Might just have to get 2 Dreadwings and slap some autobot logos on one for the "what if" shelf, loved the way they teased that in the show.

 

The red part is not accurate but looks great as a figure.

 

He actually looks really cool. These colours definitely complement the mold very well. And I love that flamethrower accessory. Too bad he doesn't fit the criteria for my collection.

Here's hoping that we'll get a nice classic Skyquake deco (preferably with a new headsculpt, all molds have two heads and I'm not really sure what this one's could be if not that). And also that we can get a Dreadwing that's punishing later on.

 

Looks fantastic. That’s a full rrp leader class buy, and for a redeco that’s saying something.

Hot diggity, he looks nice. Did they still do the G1 adapting or drop it? I can't tell.

EDIT: checked him on a bigger screen, yeah, they did. Like Bulkhead they added slight features for alignment's sake, they just didn't put his face on a different robot's body.

 

Great! I can\'t wait for Legacy Strongarm being leak.

 

He does look pretty good! Although I hate to be nitpicky, but I feel like he needs a lot more yellow. The show model has a bit more yellow on him:

 

So it's really just a straight repaint. Huh. I absolutely love this mold so I don't mind, but I was absolutely certain it was going to utilize that "hidden" robot mode that the mold seemingly had, kind of like classic Sideswipe and sunstreaker.

Oh well, Dredwings colors look really great. Also no new head, that tells me they're saving the alternate head for the inevitable G 1.5 repaint. Unless the only alt parts in the steel mold were his gun...

 

Does he come wit his flip phone detonator or is DNA Designs working on that upgrade kit?

Loved Skyquake but for some reason not keen on this not sure why......

 

Mind you its a stolen figure with no instructions so could well utilise that alt configuration but if the person that has it doesnt know about it then they would just transform him like Skyquake. Will just need to wait and see.

 

He looks magnificent. Can't decide on whether I like his better than Skyquake's or not, but those two together will really give the impression that the Decepticons are hard to stop. Lots of good Leaders this year. So many they're going to be tough to fit in so hopefully he's available well into next year. I still need to come up with a good reason why this jet is so undersized compared to cars and trucks.

I have yet to see skyquake but i will get this too. They both translated well to the non-styleized realm. Hope we get a prime ratchet soon.

 

Looks pretty good. I predict a Toyhax set to give him more gold highlights.

My biggest question is whether they adjusted the mold so the chest/backpack can actually collapse and lock in properly. Or are we still gonna have to carve away plastic to make it work?
