Crazy thing is, i own 8 of the releases in this collage. My favorite being Jabbas Sail Barge, but i dont own the top half of GRB yet, so that could change. Forgive my ignorance, but what is that huge robot in the middle back, thats in grey? Was that a release? What is it? It looks HUGE.
Ah, proposed, so NOT a release, gotcha. I have Fans Toys Terminus Gigantus, thats another insane release.
You know, I never noticed those clear files weren’t A4 size… I totally thought that about the price and percentages until I saw the product page and the bridge, elevator, knuckle blasters, cannon equip gimmick and the rest. Now they’re both at 100% for me, with any expansions to be a bonus! The one thing I do really want is a Dianaut pack. We gotta fill those seats!
I just got word from the wonderful people behind Transformerland that they’ve heavily updated the Diaclone Reboot section! It’s almost all but caught up.
I noticed with DA-95 that you can't fold the turrets up with the Dianauts still seated. Sure, there's a moulded, non-functional door that would serve as the access point, but I think it's funnier for the Dianaut to try to scramble out of the seat before the turret folds back in and squashes him. OSHA violations must be through the roof. Likewise, there's gotta be some fire control that prevents the large missiles from firing while the forward turrets are active since the turrets interdict the missiles' flight path. Maybe like how the WWII-era dogfighters were designed so that the forward machine gun couldn't fire when the prop was blocking the barrel. This makes me wonder if the DA-98 expansion is going to help alleviate the weapons' conflict a bit better.
Those should be the same ones. If you're in the US, it would be quicker to get them from Puma because of logistics. Your other option (for in-stock items) would be to use a proxy service. I like to think that I am easier to deal with (and probably a bit cheaper & careful with shipping) than those services though Totally agree with this - and many TFs now on the Takara side are just (sometimes not even) repaints of Hasbro quality stuff. Thank goodness for Diaclone! This might play a factor, but also the price for Amazon will drop as other 3rd party sellers put their listings up. Amazon starts to match them, and usually you wind up with about a 20% below suggested retail price. (This is the same price Amiamai offers from the get go.) Sometimes, depending on the competition, Amazon.jp can wind up being a little lower. But as others have suggested, their packaging is lacking a bit of care. Both Amiami and Amazon.jp have had great customer service from what I understand from others experiences on this thread. (I can only personally vouch for their domestic service here in Japan.) Hope this helps!
The "X" to indicate "cross"(ings) is actually used in other cultures too. In Europe it can indicate a crossways without specific priority (i.e. whoever comes from the right (mainland) or the left (UK etc.) has priority), and it's used in scientific and especially horticultural names (biology) for indicating crossings. One that is typically Japanese is "W" for "double".
Long queue for seats even before DA-95 hit… a bunch of them are still on the wait-list for the February 2024 seating Can’t fault the service over at Amazon JP. I know some folks here got free duplicates of DA-92 due to some dings with their original orders. Concerns about prices are mostly unfounded given that generally the prices will drop to match other retailers at release. But depending on where you are shipping May and taxes take a huge chunk.
For GRB, which part is more expensive? The top or the bottom? I would think the top would be less expensive granted it's all expensive at this point haha
Seems like some Americans here haven’t ever seen… Spoiler All of which have been around long before gaming, anime, and Japanese culture were things to be into.
Funny thing is that it isn't consistent in Japan. In many cases, it isn't said at all. Just for example, the very popular anime "Spy X Family" is just called "Spy Family" verbally.
