Unfortunately she no longer makes or sells either kit. Which is a shame, because they are both top-notch.

Haven't seen this posted yet, Capcomkai on Insta has been promoting an upgrade kit by Nova Forge for SS Rotb Scourge. Coming to Ebay soon. The new head made me realize how poor the original one is.

You have to take off certain parts to transform it.

It's shown in other photos but all the thigh pieces and head can stay attached, everything else has to come off

Got some other stuff in the mail along with the DNK-38 set: General Upgrade Kits Thread

Resin cast of Centurion set Energon Axe for Shattered Glass Optimus Prime

At first, I thought it was too yellow, but there's just enough green to match the figure. The main problem is that the cast carried over all the major design defects of the original: improperly fitting hand cavity and only designed to be right-handed. I've tried modding a different resin cast before to let the hand plug in deeper, but I couldn't file away enough material without risking major cosmetic and structural problems. If the handle was just 1mm longer, then it would work OK. SG OP's unpainted hands have difficulty in barely gripping the axe peg. One has to use their fingernail or a very thin object to close the hand while plugged in to sort-of hold the axe OK.

The picture makes the quality look worse than in hand, where it's rather smooth in person.
    axe1.jpg

Overall: This is recommended but beware it will not fix the major design gaffes of the original. Have to close the fingers while plugged in for stable posing. It will fall off with kids play.

Black Earth resin casted Megatron Sword

Their Megatron kit is 3d printed except for the swords. I got the all clear purple version. The quality is excellent. However, the handle has a minor problem. There is a thinner area where it looks like it will be too loose to hold. It is, despite the plastic being extended in one axis to match the base of the hilt and pommel. It's still too loose to hold. The base of the hilt and pommel do fit proper, though. For some figures, the base of the hilt may not be able to plug in depending on how offset the forearm and hand are, which then results in needing to use the pommel part for a stable connection. The sword blade was also mildly warped and spent 10 seconds with a heat gun at 250F to fix that. Also has a side peg for storage. The side peg and handle do fit proper, which is typically a problem with other resin casts.

The picture makes the sword look pinker than what it is in-person.
    sword1.jpg

Overall: Recommended. Sword handle design may be loose in certain figures but fit snug in others. Had a mild warp that was easily fixable with a heat gun.

    Toxitron Plunger by Juqi

I got this as a bonus gift. Supposed to be for Legacy Toxitron and was curiously released even before the figure saw recent widespread release in Asia. There's surface quality issues. I really don't appreciate print lines, however, the look is best described as polygonal. It's like an old school videogame. The plunger is printed in neon yellow-green with the cup painted over in brown. The fit between the handle and cup is very poor and way too loose. After a few fittings, the cup will just fall right off. I added a piece of hobby masking tape at the end of the handle to make it fit snug. The handle otherwise fits ports just fine.

It was a free gift. The look is quite polygonal.

Overall: As this was free, no rating. See issues above.

That new head was rather promising but the facial expression is pretty bad. Would've been a lot better with a closed mouth.

@Murasame posted about it earlier in the thread: General Upgrade Kits Thread

I haven't posted my review yet since I'm still awaiting a replacement part for a piece that arrived broken in 2. This should be arriving this week. The main negative already is the bare white connecting pieces for the cannons. Murasame painted them. I plan to tie dye mine. It does also partially restrict knee and ankle movement.
Is the print quality that rough due to using a personal printer?

I used craftcloud3d since my printer is currently out of commission. I will not make that mistake again.

It’s funny, i believe this sword is a copy/replica of the sword that came with the infamous Megasteel Granville, at least something good came from that mess of broken parts

Ah, thank you. Hindering the articulation sounds kind of no-go, but it looks so good and hides his stupid hands.

I'm looking for more game accurate weaponry for the new Gamer Edition autobots, I have the prime kit with bumper filler parts on the way, but would love a more accurately painted/sculpted bumblebee gun, and a bigger gun from barricade for Prime to have as an option, what options do I have?

Also, I was interested in the go better tarn kit until I saw that it severely limits the legs, can the limits be worked around by mistransforming the kit parts when needed or is it inherently incompatible with alternative transformation as a solution to the limiting aspects?

I would also love to see some leg filler glowy bits for gamer prime's glowy bits next to the shin vents, but nobody seems to be inclined to do that.

Next Go Better set: Legacy Shrapnel

Has some very clever gap fillers and replacement hands.

Edit: Don't have the figure but this may also limit knee flexion.

Impressive, but these honestly look too complicated to be sturdy or durable. Maybe some reviews will change my mind.

A lot of pointless engineering to make the price higher than it needs to be. Only really needs the arm filler. The rest is just unnecessary.

Those back-of-the-knee bits are ludicrously overcomplicated :S
