Current Rise of the Beast collection, so excited I’ve got plans to meet up and see it next Sunday with my parents. I was sold the second they said the Maximals were going to be in it

 

That looks frickin incredible.

 

He looks really good, dig that the Rhino both isn’t a brick and also can articulate (moving the head, can get running poses from the front legs).

With hindsight I wish he had a more accurate deco (base brown with a silver/green weathering). So I hope we can get a repaint in Buzzworthy or SS with a more accurate color scheme.

But again he looks good and I look forward to getting him.

I won't lie while it may be for the best that they didn't bring that type of line back I would've liked to have seen Hasbro do a subline of doing CHUG repaints/retools out of the WFC and Legacy molds to do as the ROTB cast. Got an idea of what molds they can use.

Nightbird I think works from Knockout, more accurate with the car chest in the film.

Yeah I’d buy a majority of these especially Arcee. With how that mold uses the wheels it’s so perfect for her.

Bad boys bad boys

 

All you need is some slight chest retooling and it's basically perfect. Why they chose to do her as a dinky core class instead I will never understand.

 

The reasoning was scale, which sure I get why, but I would have done her as a tiny Deluxe so you can get the robot mode better and also have the wheels pop on her back. Looking at the film she could still work as that and scale well. Wouldn’t be that much taller than the Core figure height. Just pack her with extra accessories.

 

Ya exactly lol, also SS is not the most accurate scale-wise anyway. One thing that I could see being a challenge with the Legarcee mold though is replicating the G1 arcee shoulder rectangle thingy-s she has in ROTB too. Otherwise you're basically golden.

 

My hopes maybe down the line SS can redo her as a small Deluxe (Deluxe for engineering) and also a bit more accurate to the film. And I'd also definitely take the Legacy Arcee as a G1-ified ROTB Arcee for me shelf.

 

Here's hoping man. ROTB Arcee is the best Arcee design we've ever got by a looooooong shot.

 

It's up there and if not them my hope would be I guess that maybe Trumpeter does a ROTB Arcee and that might be close in height to the Core figure. But hopefully even outside that 3P, Yolopark or 3Zero does a good version of that design. Really love it, and even if I don’t get them, I’d like to see good, high quality versions of that design done.

 

Are the Yolopark kits made to scale? Will there be more characters?

 

I feel Tigatron would work better for Cheetor given how tall he is in the movie but I love these ideas. Would especially buy Mirage, Wheeljack, and Battletrap.

They teased Rhinox, and hopefully there is more to come.

Apparently they had a surge in orders on their site for the kits so hopefully it shows that there is demand for the line and they have more planned beyond just Rhinox.

 

Ok thank you. I may just stick to SS for now, debating whether I should get these or mainline after. What do you all think?
