And it would have worked tbh since the design in the film is based on that control art (the leg vents are the same also) but thankfully they went the extra mile and basically made a new mold with the tiniest reuse I've seen.

Yeah while the back isn't that great or good I think he looks pretty darn good. Hopefully he's released (he likely will) in SS proper for those that miss out on him. Maybe even with a Bee include the Axe.

Nice. Double jointed elbows. Legs high kicks more than 90. Maximum ab crunch but it's separate from the side belly so only can do a little ab crunch. Nice leg transformation. Yes the T pose will be like hotrod or tarn but will able to hold a weapon with both hands like a overhead slash pose. I like the articulation

There is a Hong Kong hasbro pulse now(probably since May 2023), but I'm not sure if it affects Chinese collectors.
I believe there are other stores other than hasbro pulse, iirc it was one flagship store who accidentally sent Victory Saber to China collectors one month earlier than schedule.

I'm pretty sure it's not possible, but I'm definitely going to see if there's a way to get SS38's legs on this guy. Would make it perfect! OK, not perfect, SS38's legs are a bit wobbly, not nearly to the extent everyone likes to bitch about, but definitely not perfect. But exceptional robot mode with solid, realistic truck mode with seamless rifle storage and a trailer hitch that works perfectly with LROP's trailer, that'd be exactly what I want.

I agree, but I think @peteynorth wants to have the benefits of the clean truck back (SS38) with the official cab (ROTB) .

Ok that guy posted exactly what I was looking for. Shows that this figure looks a lot better when not shot under oversaturated lighting. I still would’ve preferred the darker overall plastic colors of SS38 but this looks nowhere near as bad as the original pictures. Glad to finally see the extent of the poseability. Wish the upper arms could pivot outwards at the shoulder rather than at the body but I get why it was done for a cleaner sculpt and transformation. Glad the thing on top of the shoulder is static unlike on SS38(which had it hinged and had to be manually pivoted down to align with the shoulder block after moving it).

Wish the sides of the mid body could also bend with the abdominal section but it’s fine as is.

This justifies its pricepoint a lot more than the similarly priced ROTB mainline voyager Prime. Unless this figure feels cheap as hell in hand, it’ll be much more worthwhile picking this over the mainline figure(if you only wanted to buy 1).

 

They are a bit skinny, but that'll stand out less against SS102's narrower waist. And ultimately, better truck bed, better headache rack, trailer hitch, and perfect rifle incorporation is worth slightly smaller thighs.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure it can't be done.

 

Yeah I guess the alt modes a bit messy. Honestly I know this sounds far fetched, to me the figure kinda looks better than the mpm-12 prime. Something about the proportions seems superior to the mpm12.

hmm I guess you are correct. I hope someone who receives an early copy does that mod (if possible) and showcases it.

 

I don't understand why the blue bits fold up against the back of the cab. It honestly looked better before he even transformed the legs at all, like they could have gone for a traditional "just clip the legs together and straighten out the toes" transformation and it would have looked better.

 

Wait really?! If so I can forgive the size. Really hope more figures start doing this. I know some Bees had that feature.
