Studio Series Scourge is still currently my toy of the year, as he’s made entirely of melted down pure bastard. He’s a great figure with awesome presence, and lots of detail. Totally recommended

Ah yeah I have those 3 motivators, thought the combiner stuff looked cool but was a bit much for my pocket, very nice though.

I guess, it's almost the same size as Motormaster's truck mode though so I think it's probably closer to classics.
It's definitely not going to fit in well with masterpieces.

Anyone else prowling around The Entertainer, wanting to get one or two Rise of the Beast Toys since it's 20% off and the movie coming out... but they are all a bit crap, or at least too crap for the price even at 20% off. Talking about:
Beast Weaponisers:
Optimus Prime with Wolf chainsaw
Optimus, turn my chest around, Primal with Tigatron Bow
Beast Combiners:
Optimus Primal and Alligator armour

and the £8 Optimus Bumblebee and Rhinox.

I just wish Wave 1 didn't always have to be just packed with Optimus's and Bumblebees and scant else.

I might have actually gone for Weaponiser Arcee or Wheeljack. Or Battle Changer Mirage.

These just arrived from Gundamit. Really lucked out on the Yggdrasil Sniper Squad - it was sold out and they somehow got a couple more in and put them on sale. Scored the last one for a lot less than they cost first time around!

 

Maybe tomorrow, completely agree though, that Prime looks terrible but I want the Wolfsaw. :/

 

yeah if the wolfsaw was one of the £4 ones i might get that on it's own, but it's paired with 'another' Optimus

 

They have come out beautifully! Great work.

 

Just got my gamer edition wave 1 in, Optimus, Bumblebee and Barricade just need to quickly spam my thoughts:

Optimus: Great, great heft and chonk, a great update to one of my favourite Optimus designs ever, much prefer it to the og deluxe. Definitely the star of this wave, he just feels so much better put together than the other 2.

Bumblebee: Bot mode is great, very mess-aroundable, lovely head sculpt, and simply turning the legs around gives him some great poseability. Transformation is a little fiddly, I wouldn't call it fun, but the end result is great.

Barricade: Barricade is definitely a robot that transforms, that has been released, and I paid for. He looks good, if a little busy, he can definitely move slightly, just not a lot. Car mode is great, very vroomable. He looks fine, he just has some weird things about him that make him eh. Including his size, I don't remember him being so big?

Anyway, I am excited for Megatron, I am glad I got these overall as they'll look good in a glass cabinet.
