And, three licks to the center of a Tootsie Pop…how a bill becomes a law…and vampire rabbits are a thing…haha… Yeah, that’s it. It really is impressive what they did at the price point.
4 Hands Brewing collaborating to create Voltron–inspired beer series I don’t know if anyone has heard about this yet. I live in STL where Voltron was created and the family is working with a local brewery to make six Voltron inspired beers. My friend found the yellow lion pack yesterday.
Forgive me if this has been posted, but it looks like there will be a Japan-only release of Carbotix Voltron to be released in Oct. It costs around $480, has a blazing sword effect accessory, and does not include the display base and accessories, although there is a separate listing for that. Anyone familiar with Carbotix? I’m trying to convince myself I don’t need their fairly expensive Voltron when I don’t currently have a premium quality version of the character…
at this point we're already pretty familiar with that figure, but it comes down to what you're wanting out of a Voltron, the SOC as well as i believe it's Action Toys have a similar product for a lower price with the diff being mostly size, 16" vs 12" and then a few feature changes
Nothing wrong with not owning a premium figure. The later versions seem to have fixed the earlier QC issues, though still not a fan if the exposed wiring for the black lion. It's under the neck and just knowing it's there bugs me too much. Also find the lion modes to be off. Personally, I found Carbotix to be too big and very costly. Threezero on the other hand is just the right size, lions look better and went for that. Got the Gokin ES and that's super cute (if you're into SD), but does suffer some QC issues. I'm debating on the Action Toys as parts forming allows for 2 different looks (which I find pretty cool as you now got choices to display it). I know you heard this all before, but it's really down to collector preference. The great thing is we actually got choices now and I'm sure there's one or more that will appeal to you and probably not break the bank or make your wallet scream in the process.
I think in your case the Threezero Robo Dou might be more fitting, or that big one Action Toys is working on(which is smaller than the Carbotix one IIRC).
Hey all, i'm about ready to pull the trigger on the Action Toys Voltron and or a Three Zero. Anyone have any leads as to who has it in stock? Don't want to wait forever for shipping...lol
My Threezero has shipped from Sideshow.com and according to the website it's in stock for non pre-orders and ready to ship tomorrow.
