I wanna try and make some boosters from scratch to be able to turn the 1997 DX Stealth Gao into Stealth Gao II. I thinking of maybe using some empty pill bottles. Anyone have any other ideas?

 

I lagged on pre-ordering the $700 P+GGG add-on set, for obvious reasons..
I am wondering though if I'll be able to find it for sale fairly easily after release?
I got P+GGG on PO right when it came out and didn't pay attention to later availability.

 

GGG is readily available in the secondary market even now. I'd imagine goldymarg and stealth gao II will also be pretty easy to find, probably with a significant discount if you're willing to wait.

 

You’d think it’ll go discount? I initially preordered the full DX Goldy set. But cancelled, felt it was a bit OP… now I kinda regret, would want at least get the base Goldy+stealth2 set.

 

Well I'm no expert on the matter, but I would be very surprised if this set manages to sell out at rrp (or maintain its value when buying second hand). Like I said before, GGG is still available with some pretty hefty discounts for used copies. In comparison, there is much lower demand for goldy and stealth gao II, let alone a set that costs even more than the base GGG figure.

 

But it works well with the SMP GGG cast  

 

Hey, I'm thinking of doing a presentation at work on how some brands maintain their consumer as their consumer ages and has different interests (I'm specifically thinking of Drive Head and Shinkalion which supported Tomica and Plarail respectively), but I wonder if anyone else has suggestions to add along that mindset.

 

You could try working in the Transformers Masterpiece line or Generations.

 

You could talk about Gunpla and it's different model grades that offer higher tiered models with more detail to more advanced and older models, but also offer the opportunity to scale down to smaller gundams if you wish

Just a quick question for you guys, do you keep all the boxes for your Brave stuff or your other collectibles or do you toss them?

 

I keep the high end ones. The old DXs mostly being korean ones i toss.
