Thanks to 2005 Boards member @savage dragon is giving us the heads up of sighting of the Transformers Retro G1 Hound reissue at US retail. This is a reissue of the G1 Hound mold in a more cartoon-accurate deco. It was found at a Walmart in Tamiami Trail, Florida. Happy hunting!
So we're at what, the fourth release in these G1 decos? My Walmart still has the Starscream at full price and I've never seen Hot Rod or Thundercracker around me.
In hindsight, if I had realized this was the first sighting , I would’ve taken a better picture than one hand on my phone, one hand on the toy and me doing 80 mph on I-75. In my defense, the van does have drive assist. by the way, the story says Tamiami Trail, Florida, but it was actually in Venice on Tamiami Trail

Hound is my favoret Autobot. And I have seen this figure in my local Walmart. But the price so outragus for such a tiny toy. In Canada it is priced at $47.97 CAN. Thats about 35.46 USD. I hope they will discount this figure and I may then pick it up. But unlike the many discounts I see posted for US retailers when it comes to Toys. I do not see the same in Canada.
