Honestly I'm team "have her just be a normal G1 Seeker retool" but I'd be fine with having a Slipstream from like, Armada Starscream or something, or her own mold; just please, anything other than retooling from Windblade......

Actually, y'know what would be ideal? Give us a new-mold Cyberverse Slipstream to redeco all the myriad other Cyberverse Seekers from, since they all share the exact same body just with "guy" and "girl" heads (aside from Starscream, Ramjet, and Dirge).

EDIT: Give the Acid Storm redeco both "guy" and "girl" heads from the mold to swap between.

 

i mean, if windblade works, i say go for it personally. i think the takara one is better than the funpub one which has one of the worst heads i've ever seen.

 

earthrise slipstream or bust

 

I think either a new Voyager mold so that we don't just have Deluxe female figures or a Windblade retool. Sure the second isn't ideal, but it would probably be a better figure than if they just headswapped ER Starscream

If we're going to advocate for Slipstream to be a Seeker retool than I say she needs to either come from a future Animated Starscream mold or get a new mold of her own based on her Cyberverse design so we can get all the Cyberverse Seekers from her mold (besides the couple like Starscream that didn't share a design with her in Cyberverse).

Edit: I would also accept a retool from a Prime Starscream that homages the TFCC version. That or the two ideas above would be much better impo than her sharing a mold with Windblade or being just a new head on the shit Earthrise Seeker mold. Fuck, I don't even want the Earthrise mold for my G1 Seekers.

 

Slipstream should be a new mold or somehow a retool of a new Animated Starscream. No ER retool please.

 

I feel like if they were to do Animated Slipstream they should base her engineering off of a hypothetical Animated Starscream, but still have her be a completely new mold.

 

TBH remold Slipstream from a normal seeker mold is a bad dea 'cause you just can't get a good feminine silhouette from that.

 

Yeah, but being thinner/more feminine than a normal Starscream or Seeker isn't intrinsic to Slipstream's character. Her Cyberverse incarnation, which at this point is probably the most prominent version of the character, has the very same body as all the rest of the Seekers sans Starscream and the two coneheads.

Also I get not wanting Slipstream on the Earthrise mold if you don't like the Earthrise mold, that's fair, but even if I wasn't a huge fan of that idea I'd still much prefer it to shoving her on the same mold as Windblade. We don't need all jetformer girls to be on the same mold. Seriously.

honestly i think the best opportunity to make slipstream is making her basically the pretool for a animated verse starscream, in which they both have the exact same transformation but have minor physical differences to make them stand apart. it also helps they’re both from the same universe so they would look better together instead of slipstream being a retool of some other seeker mold

 

I had issues with Springer when I first got him, but a file here and future there and he’s doing well. Though he’s been replaced with the Amazon one…

Re: Trailbreaker… I see where the problem stems. I don’t give a rat’s ass about cartoon accuracy. That’s what MP is for these days (and why I dropped it, Diaclone homages aside). I just want cool looking toys that aren’t a pain in the ass to transform. Heck, I usually add toyhax to make them look MORE toy accurate. I don’t consider a toy a failure in need of a new version just because it doesn’t match the cartoon.

 

Outside of more G1 updates, Hasbro can we get Cybertron Scourge?

I could see them making an Earthrise retool if they could at least give it wrists and a waist swivel. Other than that yeah most things would be better than the Earthrise Starscream mold
