There isn't much, almost all of them have humans. But out of the few there are I absolutely love the Africa scene between Optimus and Sentinel. The music, the sunset, how amazing the CGI is, and the respect they show for each other. That scene made me 100% sure Sentinel was as much of a hero as Optimus, only problem is the way it cuts from their vehicle modes to their robot modes, they should have transformed there. I wish that scene was longer

In the first movie when Prime fires up the Allspark's coordinates and tells the Bots if all else fails he will sacrifice himself

Optimus and Sentinel in Africa is gorgeous. The beautiful African dusk, the light rain in the distance. The lighting on Sentinel when he holds the Matrix, and when he says “unlike the final days of Cybertron.”

There’s more to the scene too. Sentinel takes a moment to take a stab at Optimus for letting the war go so poorly, while also hinting at what he has planned for Earth. And yet he still turns the Matrix back to Optimus, who we see actually kneeling before someone and asking them to take over.

It’s a great scene. A little too short. But Peter and Leonard - god, what a duo - kill it. And Bay provides a gorgeously shot scene between two Transformers acting like characters. The image of Optimus standing there with the rain behind him has stayed with me.

It's sort of a minor sequence, Optimus telling Jazz they can't help Bumblebee and explaining what he sees in humanity in between Bumblebee's capture and finding the Allspark with the glasses, but I felt it was an incredibly important and powerful moment. It's one of the only times the Autobots talk about themselves, and it gives the audience a huge insight into their motivations and what sets them apart from the Decepticons. Optimus is willing to sacrifice Bumblebee for the mission and to protect human lives (and the other Autobots aren't so sure), he identifies with humanity and sees us as similar to him and his people, rather than something separate, there's shades of hope, wisdom, maybe even regret for the history of his people in just a few lines. Maybe they feel more important because there's so few character moments in the films, or because fans like me walked in with preconceptions over who these characters were that this scene validated, but over and over I keep coming back to those two or three minutes as a watershed moment in what the Transformers films could do well.

The 2007 film is the only Bay film where Optimus is as kind and selfless as he was in G1, they nailed his personality at first

The talk, between The Fallen and Starscream, early in ROTF, on the distant planet, because it's a spirituality "besides its concept". The natural insinuation, here, is a double context of spirituality, with two different meanings of the application.

Ironhide: Why are we fighting to save the humans, they are a primitive, and violent race.

Prime: *solemly* Were we so different? They are a young species, they have much to learn.

It's funny how prime seemed to "unlearn" those lessons in subsequent movies.

It’s sad that there are so few robot to robot conversations. And the ones to choose from are all pretty heartless and lame.

If you can count Megan fox's robotic acting it's opens up the options a little!

Pretty much the same issue I'm having while trying to pick a 'favorite conversation between the non-human characters in the movies'.

You could take it as Prime becoming jaded towards humanity, after saving their collective butts several times they still turn on him for the stupidest of reasons.

Say what you will about Bay Megatron and Starscream, but all of their interactions together in RotF were pretty much everything i could want as a fan of both those characters.

Every time that the Autobots interacted with each other in 07 was a treat, and Prime’s character was especially masterful. So, the scene of he and Jazz debating on whether or not they should go after Bumblebee was really well done and well scripted, even down to the subtle nuances in both characters’ body language. Optimus wasn’t relinquishing Bumblebee to die simply because the mission came first; he would not, in any conceivable conscious, bring harm to humanity even WHEN they had one of his own in custody.

And, the scene where all Autobots, sans Bumblebee, were waxing poetic with one another about the Allspark, humanity, and the errors/failings of their own race, with Optimus gently challenging Ironhide once he described humanity as primitive and violent. Every bot got a chance to speak, and their words weren’t hollow nor meaningless. It’s such a well done, well acted, and well thought out scene between four entities that felt like ACTUAL characters, and not the cardboard cutouts they became in the consecutive films.

Hell, even the Autobots unintentionally goofing off in Sam’s front yard was a great moment of character. Honestly, 07 had, and still has the best representation of the Autobots in the live action movies. Rise of the Beasts may finally challenge that, but we’ll see!

Megatron and Starscream’s interactions in RotF was another stand out for me, as it felt like moments and dialogue that were ripped right out of G1, just less silly. I really did feel the sense that this was a war general and his second-in-command who both shared a long history together. Like when Starscream informed Megatron that the humans had transported Prime’s body to Egypt, and the latter, without explicitly telling him, basically told Starscream to handle it, and Screamer immediately sprung to action. I loved that. Such a small and quick moment, but one that encapsulated those two’s relationship very well.

Sentinel and Optimus’ little heart to heart in DOTM.

Shame it was so short. And that it was their only conversation as friends before his betrayal. And that his betrayal doesn’t really jive with that scene. And that as nice as it is it’s not terribly deep or informing.

    But it was pretty.

Humans are just that mentally taxing to deal with. I mean some think the world is flat! I'd go crazy having to deal with a species that stupid.

It wasn't really a conversation, didn't last very long, and suffers from a lot of Bay's continuity ignorance, but when the Decepticons go resurrect Megatron in ROTF and the mad scientist says "need parts... kill the little one," and then the rest don't hesitate to brutally murder the smallest one by ripping it to pieces... that was perfect characterization of Decepticons.
