Thanks! Scarr is the only one I need, so don’t even mind the extra cost.

Nice, but I'm fine waiting for my Pulse order. Snarl on the other hand I am going feral to get ASAP to finish Volcanicus

I'm actually considering getting the core class Dinobots now. At first I was going to because they were out of scale. I can get Swoop, Scarr, Sludge and Slug at CMDstore no problem. But there is the matter of finding Grimlock. Most stores that have him in stock are sold out.

So I did calculations and buying Grimlock from BBTS with cheapest shipping possible would still cost like $30 US, convert to Canadian that's nearly $40, then average import and customs would be $20 on top of that. So Core Class Grimlock would cost me $60. I don't think that's worth it.

If you use Amazon.com instead of .ca you can ship a core Grimlock to Canada for under $30. (Shipping might differ depending where in Canada)

Probably nothing new but I found putting Slug's tail on Volcanicus's neck makes him looks like a samurai. No pegs for the tail on Volcanicus's neck but it can be stuck there, although it will leave Volcanicus's belly exposed.

About to order SG Grimlock. Didn’t realize it was coming in stock this soon

How’d you attach that cape to Tarn? Looks unique!

Do you think there should be a Leader Class Scarr at some point?

Maybe not studio series 86, maybe in the Legacy line after?

    Maybe?
Personally, I'd say voyager, because then you can use it for 2 more uses reasonably. I think an extra leader with no story would have a hard time, but make him voyager, and then you could retool him into
    A. The bw character who was also an anky
    B. A repaint as the conceptual aoe ankylo dinobot

Like, I like the idea of an extra dinobot, but I hesitate to say leader because he might just not be popular enough. A voyager wouldn't look too out of place ak9ngst the dinobots, and you could do 2 repaints more comfortably

So, after getting Scarr and Swoop in-hand, I'm thinking that it was planned all along for Swoop to have a weapon that splits, not just for his dino mode, but I think a spare so Sludge has a weapon as well.

Once Snarl comes out, I'm betting he'll have a single weapon, as well, and they'll all have a weapon. I can't imagine Sludge will be the only one without a weapon when it's all said and done.

If they did plan it this way, it's cheap, easy, and smart. They get to make an affordable set and we still get a complete team. Win/win in my book.

Was able to snag a Swoop and Scarr today, so put this guy together. I love how he looks when he has feet. The adapter I printed doesn't hold up as well as I'd like though, so I'll probably be redesigning that.
Really, some better hands are probably the things I'd want the most. Still love fiddling with the set though.

I think the weapon split was exclusively so he could have his dino mode weapons / look more accurate in dino mode.

What i'm curious about is what Snarl is going to do... is he going to be just another big chunky leg, or will he have removable parts to make somewhat articulated feet for the combo mode...

Would be nice. Grimlock's waist piece has slot of sorts molded on the bottom. Seems like something should go there.

But most likely being save for Dinoking.
