Mods, feel free to change the thread title since 10 will be a 2 parter to end the series. Vin Diesel announces 'Fast X' will be 2 movies
Kind of on the same page as you. In my case, 7 was the last one I watched in the theater. They're still a guilty pleasure for me; however, I'm not willing to pay full MSRP to see them anymore.
Ok, so it looks like there will be a part 11 and part 10 being split into 2 movies won't be the last. Is it ever really going to end?? 'Fast X' Will Kick Off Three-Part Finale, Says Vin Diesel
For this specific movie it’s a post credit scene. Though I suppose the big question will his character and Diesel’s actually be on screen together come the next one.
The canceled hobbs and Shaw 2 plot might be use for 11 and maybe 12 Dante might be the director of Eteon.
Spoiler Since Dante pull a Karma on Cipher and compromised the Agency I believed he hack Eteon before Hobbs and Shaw.
My wife and I are huge fans and went this morning to an early show. If you like the series you’ll like this. It’s more of the same. I had a lot of fun, and the credits scene was good. Kinda thinking they jumped the shark when they went to space though.
Yes. Spoiler free thoughts now the sheer adrenaline wore off: anyone willing to see John Cena show up out of the blue as Vin’s long lost biological brother in Fast 9 is going to come see this thing. This whole franchise is a living example of a boiled frog. It’s been slowing boiling alive the part of audience’s brains that demand things make sense or work like the real world. No one is jumping off this ride now. It is far from a perfect movie. It’s all but impenetrable to someone that hasn’t seen Fast V-9 (yes the franchise mixes Roman numerals and Arabic numerals. Roll with it!). It has some silly scmaltzy scenes where Dom mumble growls family a few times. Physics was clearly taken out back, beat senseless, and dumped in a pit somewhere. But again, if you’ve gone this far then it is more of the same and then more and more of the same. You’re probably going to go see it. It does end on a bit of a cliffhanger, and there is a post credit scene. But it does feel like we’re seeing the final boss fight set up. The stakes have been raised and the heroes have their backs to the wall. There’s twists and turns, surprises, crazy guest stars, and desperate alliances between folks that would otherwise mumble growl at each other menacingly. If you like the franchise, go see it. If you don’t like the insanity this franchise is pumping out, go see something else.
Two years! BOO!!! I kinda know how that cliffhanger resolves just from watching enough of these things. And I’m certain we have at least one more character left to return and lend a hand.
