In my country they are right now in local stores and the price of a Voyager is the same price that a SS Voyager, around 43$.

 

What are you talking about? The Voyagers are the same pricing. Each store will do their own discount. RK has the Core Voyager and SS ROTB Voyager cases at the same price of 107.90.

 

Robot Kingdom is also an overseas distributor, and there is still variation between some of their case offering prices.

But my broad point was that retailers have seemingly “marked up” a good number of the Rise of the Beasts products, compared to Hasbro’s MSRP. MSRP on the Battle Changers is $9.99 (Entertainment Earth’s pricing), most mainline retailers are selling them for $11.99. Amazon’s prices are all over the place (some items MSRP, some with the higher pricing seen at most physical retailers).
A Target page for Core Deluxe Bumblebee has their price at $22.99, between the Earthspark deluxe and Generations Deluxe.

But we won’t know Hasbro’s MSRP on the Core line until they eventually let retailers like Entertainment Earth actually post orders.

 

That's why I compared to the most recent SS Voyager case on RK, which is the same pricing. Their most recent deluxe cases have also been around $200 as well ($197 for Core Deluxe, $199 for SS Deluxe).

I've seen some pricing increases on the cheaper stuff IRL but not more than a dollar at Meijer or Target.

Target admittedly may not be the best to use as an example currently. They are charging the same on their website for Generations and the Core Deluxes. They're also listing Earthspark wave 2 deluxes at $24.99 with no discount...although I highly doubt they'll ever list for that price in-store.

 

Really strange that main line voyagers are not available on Amazon. They are available in many local stores of several countries.

 

I know. I even found them in store in my backwoods town here in Tennessee. Bought both Voyagers on the spot.

But no sign of them online.

 

Added some paint to the chest to match the Yolopark model! Didn't do that good a job, but it definitely makes a difference!

 

Adding paint to the chest was the first thing I did with this figure, right out the box. It makes a world of difference!

I noticed the price tag on the shelves for the Core Voyagers are 34.97 at a local Walmart. It either went up a full buck to regular price or checkout knocks off a dollar. Online still says 33.97 as does my receipts from past month.



The case boxes themselves say "Core Boy" on them, hence "Boy" on the price sticker. We got both our Voyagers before 4-24.

Just wanted to remind that this is the Primal thread, not the Prime one. Also, got mine today along with Prime courtesy of @Lunatic Prime. Many thanks to him again, this figure is lovely (and prime is, too).

Also, he looks super nice with his Maximals pals. I don't really want the Mainline Rhinox since I'm not a big fan of the way it looks so I probably won't complete the cast though.

Yeah, that one looks really good apart from the weird legs, but I'm sure it'll look better in person. I'm not sure it will look good with the mainline though, the aesthetics is very different I feel.

 

I actually like the legs so far (in robot mode). What’s bothering me a bit are the shoulders.

To me the aesthetics of the main-/Core line Deluxes are very different and the Voyagers are closer to Studio Series or at least Primal. Prime’s and Rhinox‘es bodies might be closer to Core Cheetor and Airazor but the heads don’t fit the aesthetic IMO.
Or maybe it’s all just the eyes. Cheetor and Airazor are the only Core line figures that have Generations styled eyes.

 

Ironically enough, I like his toys color more than movie toys, eventhough both sporting the same monochrome color.

In hand, Primal looks cool in the monochrome color, tbh.

That\'s what I think, cuz it says that on multiple sites and it\'s starting to trickle out in some places in the world. I haven\'t seen it anywhere yet. Nothing to worry about considering the release date is June right?

 

April 10th 2023 is what it says on the Core Voyager case. The more recent cases have dates stamped on them to warn the store not to open until that date.

 

Gave primal his green eyes! It was difficult in robot mode. I had to put paint on the end of a toothpick, and clean up the edges. Still could be better but from a distance it looks great.



I also shaved even more material from the back of his head. I highly recommend everyone do this. The head can now move side to side freely, and it makes posing him so much more fun. Unless you're staring at the bottom of the back of the head you'd never notice the difference, too!

 

Sorry for double posting, but I finally did a full repaint on this figure! It ended up being tougher than I thought because OF COURSE when I was 90% done my gunmetal spray paint started to run out. I had to improvise to finish, which took longer but ended up being fine in the end.

 

Is the wave 2 case really just 2 Rhinox and 1 Optimus Prime? That makes finding Core Optimus Primal even more difficult.
