Saw the touch video years later on both vh-1 and mtv 2 (aka classic) back when they actually played music videos! I know it aired on transformers season 5 but missed it.

I also never heard it on the radio. It and he-man secret of the sword's song "i have the power" music video were barely played on radio it looks like.

Raccoon and the lost star "run with us" got more airtime. It was rare also.

Of course, none could beat an american tail "somewhere out there" that played everywhere.

 

Nice to see Season 5 getting some remembrance! With the way robotics are going I would love within my lifetime to see a full Transformers live-action TV show. Sadly I was born right after it ended into a horrible Prime/Bee drought in my country.

 

I stumbled across this in Dragon Ball Super recently and I don't think I've seen anyone anywhere else talk about it. This scene from the Tournament of Power arc just screams Unicron Trilogy to me:

The combined character is named Koiceareta (or Koichiarator or whatever its name was translated as) and there's barely any footage of it online. The combination feels like a mish-mash of Energon stuff with one bot forming the legs and the overall proportions being somewhat silly but still semi-workable. I was skeptical at the connection at first but the pose with the logo and shoutout at the end sealed it as a reference in my eyes. It was very cool to see, especially as one of the last pieces of Transformers media I'd expect to see referenced at all.

 

I remember watching Panty and Stocking and there was an episode which featured them as robot characters in the style of G1. Many other robots referencing the TFs were present too.

There is a reference to Transformers in Megas XLR. I cannot remember what it was, but all I can remember was a race of robots which actually resembled Transformers and their motives for war were kinda similar.

The anime Gyrozetter has a Nissan GTR robot which looks slightly similar to the Alternity Optimus Prime figure. The only difference is the head, plus the body is slimmer and the thing partsforms a lot.

Watching Arnold's new show on Netflix FUBAR and one of the main characters is a fan of 80s cartoons/toys things of that nature. First or second episode he was wearing a transformers shirt, briefly. OK kinda cool, but another reference came up again in 3rd episode and decided to cap it. Err...ignore the subtitles, that does not apply to our kind I say!
