Hmmm, e-mails from Amazon... The Talon Fighter has been brought forward a whole two days. Yippee. Meanwhile, Amazon AU has summarily cancelled my King Hiss, claiming that the seller has cancelled it. Amazon US was the seller, and they have, as of right now, stock for sale according to the item entry. At an extra $40-odd more then the price I "bought" it for just over a month ago. What the actual fuck?!?
It is stuff like this that makes me seriously consider packing in collecting. I see what you are talking about with the King Hiss on Amazon and I agree it is total BS. Only others I could find for standard deluxe price for Hiss here were Toy Empire (still a preorder for 23/09) and...I won't mention the other.
So since we're apparently supposed to be getting a Filmation variant of He Man and Skeletor next year, what accessories do you all think they will come with? I really haven't watched enough of the cartoon to be an expert, but He Man basically only uses his power sword in the cartoon, right? Does he use his axe or shield at all? I'm personally more excited for Skeletor, but I guess he would only come with his staff, and that weird axe? I kind of like that crossbones sword, but 3 accessories might be too much to ask for. No interest in any of the reissues that are rumored to come, but I do hope I get another shot at Faker.

Speaking of Entertainment Earth, I am using them to purchase all my Origins stuff. I was able to pre-order wave 9 in February and got it in March. I also pre-ordered wave 10 at the same time in February but have not received them yet. They are now in back ordered status and I am worried I may never get wave 10 even though I ordered it when pre-orders were still open. EE has been my go-to for this line starting with wave 9. What is everyone's experience with MOTUO and EE? Have you had back orders fulfilled or cancelled? I saw MOTUO wave 9 a couple times at Target but have never seen wave 10 at retail or in person.
My track record with EE is fucking shit. So many canceled orders for Transformers, such shit service that I moved over to the Chosen Prime despite higher prices. Just an absolute shit show. Meanwhile over at BBTS, I haven't had a single order canceled, not a single thing missing from an order. And the organizer of the largest MOTU FB groups has EE's dick so far down his throat, I swear to god he make thirty posts a week shilling for them.
They've been calling the "Filmation repaints" so I'm not expecting too much in new tooling. If they replaced Skeletor's sword with the ax that would be cool.
I think it was said on the dotOrg that somebody was told by a Mattel source that Mattel was done producing wave 10 and that all outstanding preorders were likely to be cancelled unless they hit the MOQ for a completely new run. That's essentially what's going on with the delays. These waits have been essentially in hopes of a second run that hasn't hit the MOQ because big box retailers passed on the wave and Mattel's getting ready to cancel. If you go with small comic or toy shops, any preorder is also likely to be through EE. It would appear that Target and Walmart skipping waves has royally effed up this line and -- while Mattel isn't canceling -- this TMNT thing is about trying to get retailers to order enough to meet demand.
