The more pictures I see of Oil Slick the more I think he is a pass. The rest of this line will be pre-ordered at HTS as soon as they put them up.
I think Snarl is one of the very few figures I will be picking up out of this line. I really wanted to like Soundwave, but he just doesn't seem to be winning me over at all.
Hasbro has stated that oil slick may be worked into season 3 somehow. If not, enjoy the figure anyway.
Oil Slick just is slick. The figure does nothing for me. Will more than likely pass. Totally like the other three though. Can wait until the Animated flavored plastic crack hits retail.
Jazz, Snarl and Soundwave are on my list to buy. Oil Slick is very much a pass. In fact, I haven't hated a TF this bad since...I don't know when.
Yeah, Oil Slick's kinda crap. Why would Hasbro release such a half-assed bikeformer after releasing the best TF bike-former ever in Wave 1?
Wow, what's with all the hatred toward Oil Slick? Well I guess thats just people's own opinions, anyways I'm gonna buy them all. Oil Slick and Jazz are totally awsome! Soundwave is cool, but the fact that he is SO short is kinda discouraging. And as for Snarl...well, put it this way, I've seen allot of way better figures, but I'm still gonna buy him.
mike sounders the 13th and soundwave maybe its just me but does anyone else pick up a rather slight gaogaigar vibe when it comes to the whole guitar bit and the fact that both characters have an interest in sound/music? figure wise i could almost see the animated soundwave figure mold sporting a different head and color scheme as a transformer character based on mike sounders the 13th hey if crasher can be turned into a transformer character why not?
I've been an Oil Slick fan since Botcon... he's so unique and different than any TF I've seen before. Just awesome. I like Soundwave too but I agree with other posters that he is to small. Perhaps he'll get a larger figure someday, maybe when he assumes a new form? All in all I love this Animated stuff, I hope the line and toon lasts for a VERY long time.
what the hell? i think oil slick looks okay. he ain't draw dropping kewl, but he is better than those Roadbot bikes. i didn't think i would like Soundwave, but with these pics, i am falling hard for him. he's got a slick alt, monsterous bot , and that gitbox accessory is nice. snarl is the "meh" of the bunch. i don't know if it is the dark colors messing up his bot mode for me, but it just looks, bland. and Jazz, i like him.
Animated is batting a thousand with its biker-bots. First Prowl, then Oilslick, I'm left wondering if it's just the artstyle that lets them be more free with the design, of if they've just been holing out on us with the motorcycle TFs of the past.
Being Canadian and having to pay out the ass for Transformers when our dollar has been on par with the US greenback for quite some time now (with many companies passing the savings on to the consumer), this line will ruin me
