So the animated movie is going to be called Transformers One and Elita-1 will simply be called Elita . I'm calling it now .... This Optimus Prime origin story is going to be an empowering tale of how Elita rose through the autobot ranks , single handedly made Orion Pax the greatest autobot of all time and earned the One after the hyphen which is even more important than the title Prime .
Sounds neat actually, a unique take on the origins for us deep in the sauce and and even newer tale for general audience members.
Behind every great man is a women! (Probably can't say that these days! ) I figured it had something to do with the Autobot "till all are one" religious fanaticism slogan.
"Elita One" has always been a kinda stupid name, mainly the "One" because it just doesn't really mean anything. Like obviously her name is meant to parallel Optimus Prime (best first), but that was before "Prime" actually meant anything. Her being just Elita is totally fine. Hell I'd be down for her to become a Prime since "Elita Prime" actually sounds pretty cool. That'd be perfect for another continuity with Animated-style ranks, or just another continuity that actually tries to do something interesting.
