Tbh in this instance I think only Hong Kong and China get all these transformers themed attractions. From what I heard and seen Japan isn’t all that into Transformers anymore.

 

How come we can\'t get this in the US?

 

If I'm off to Hong Kong again, this is the place to go for me!

 

I was hoping for something like a moderately small pop-up here in NYC since it's the location of Rise of the Beasts.

Alas, Asia always gets all the cool fan experiences

 

I'd likely never eat at a place like this, but it's an amazing achievement for the brand. Yay China for making such a restaurant to begin with.

mostly a general fast-food restaurant with a big merch area...would fit right in at Universal Studios...

funny "Our gift to you..." line from the commercial...Autobots pushing unhealthy fast food...should have been a Nemesis-themed restaurant with Decepticon theming...

Now I think about it, how come Universal don't have a Transformers theme cafe/ resturant at their Transformers attraction unless they do have one and I didn't know about?

Friend of mine was asking me if 2500 USD was too much for a 1 of 100 limited edition Optimus Prime. Apparently that fancy one with with fancy stand & ring is one of those world-wide specialty figures for the Cafe. Happy Hunting!

“As it should”? What are you talking about? Just because it’s transformers doesn’t mean it will be released in Japanese markets too. Hasbro markets are incredibly different from Takara Tomy’s. They license things for different reasons. This restaurant might be valuable in Hong Kong because Transformers is very popular there, but Japan is a whole different situation. Transformers have a bit of a rough situation over there for a while. The fans exist but it’s not enough to invest into the construction of an entire restaurant. Besides, these designs aren’t popular with the Japanese fans, they where made for everyone internationally with a western design philosophy.
