Back when I was 5 years old, I got this particular Masters Of The Universe child-sized sword and shield set. It came with two sword halves, one silver and one glow-in-the-dark, and they could clip together to make the full Power Sword. It was pretty fun, and safe enough if you had the two halves together. But when separated, the edges of the swords where they met were actually sharp enough to cut skin. And, while play fighting with my sister, I found this out firsthand, when she slashed my face above my left eyebrow and scarred me for life. Now that I've decided to collect as much of this Mega MOTU line as possible, I was very happy when I discovered that there was a glowing version of the Power Sword (included with the "By The Power Of Grayskull!" set). Some of my earliest, formative memories of Skeletor are of him having this glow-in-the-dark version of the sword, and I was a bit disappointed that the original toy had a purple one. So it's nice to be able to have a Skeletor wield the sword from my traumatic childhood experience.
Well, I think it's a cool battle scar. When I was a kid, there was a live-action He Man event held in Calgary that my mom took us to see. The only thing I remember was in the stadium, a _sea_ of light-up He Man power swords waving around. The glowing Power of Grayskull sword flashes that back for me every time I look at it!
Good thing that one guy at Wizards isn't working for Mattel yet: I do like the orange rifle. And it saves me the trouble of dying some.
Really want that Buzz-Off… Which set are these supposed to come with, again? And is it actually getting released…?
From the rumors.posted here, it is part one of three for an Eternia build. I would presume the Grayskull tower.
With Mega's track record, I'd have to laugh if they got 2 out of 3 parts released and then dropped MOTU

A few things from my "Bee-Man" purchase. The helmet has a post in it so it's a snug fit to Buzz-off's head. The composite test pieces don't have the claw hands which doesn't really surprise me. And I feel a lot of us are going to want a second set of wings to modify a set to make the left and right wings move independently. It's a bit unfortunate that Mega didn't just cast half a wing set and include two pieces for that purpose. Especially since it does feel that Mega goes the extra mile to add little details or improvements from the original design where they can. From a materials view, it doesn't seem like the necessary resources to make such a thing possible would have been a significant increase to the manufacturing costs.

Nice. ... Except the six finger cat paws. Edit, I wonder if that color on Buzz-off is the final color or a promotional sample painted piece. It look a lot darker than the test shots on eBay.
