In your opinion, sure. You also don't have to keep watching

…all I can say is that this season feels “disjointed” and lacks the quality of the first two seasons.

The episode of the “flying dino” and the kid…feels stupid (I think this is the first time I have ever use this word here). By the time, the group got there the poor kid should have been dead.

And the way the ownership of the Dark Saber was handled…I think I’m dropping this series.

I agree. If the character was still alive…it would make sense as it would provide an insight to the character’s development.

And I’m almost across the finish line.
    No S4 for me.

And don’t take it so personal.

So did you watch any of Clone Wars? I mean we knew the Clones would turn on the Jedi, Anakin would fall to the dark side, and Ahsoka would be sidelined. So did any of that matter?

Yeah, prequels are hard to make interesting, but they're not necessarly doomed. Done well they're fine. I'd argue that what's happening in Mandalorian is fine as the ST stuff is far far down the line and likely not to impact this at all. And we know Thrawn is coming. What we know of the state of the universe in the ST era isn't much. For all we know Thrawn is squatting on a competing sliver of the galaxy.

    Also random note,

Mandalore seems to literally have a kaiju-esque hollow earth. The Mythosaur isn't the only giant on the planet it seems and that's pretty cool that a global nuking woke all of them up to come to the surface.

I don't actually have a lot to say about this episode. It certainly had a lot in it and it wasn't dull, but I didn't find much to be terribly interesting or engaging. The council at the beginning was neat for the semi-familiar faces, but I have zero interest in the story thread that it exists to service, so everything about it felt completely predictable and hollow. Glad the season is wrapping up somewhat neatly, though I feel like a lot of the plot-heaviness of this episode should have been somewhat dispersed throughout the season, particularly everything about Gideon's plans and the coordination of the Imperial Remnant. Still, the finale should be enjoyable - especially now that I've lowered my expectations for this show enough to be content with it.

As conceptually very dumb (and frankly ghoulish) as it is, the bits of Grogu piloting IG-12 were delightful and made for some genuinely funny and charming comedic scenes. Probably the only time this show has left me smiling and chuckling through an entire scene.

So how is Grogu riding IG-12 supposed to be better than his flying cradle? Not only it felt wrong but now he needs others to lift him up made him a bigger load than before. And it seems like he forgot the Force once he switched to the droid body.

Potentially Grogu is going to start blasting enemies in it or turn on IG's old defense protocols to kick ass.

No, I didn't because of that reason. The outcome of the war didn't matter, the character development of the clones didn't matter, the struggle of the jedi didn´t mattered and there was no tension because ultimately, nothing mattered because we know what would happen.

Since The Clone Wars series was developed in hindsight, it had the benefit of veering off to where it did matter: the characters and worlds that were created for or expanded upon for the show. It seems a bit strange to undermine some of the more intimate stories just because they didn't end up influencing the greater events of the movies and beyond. I can't really think of many people that watched the series and thought by the end that they had wasted all of their time because they knew the events of Episode III were going to happen anyways. In some ways with the way that TCW's finale went, I think it actually used the movie's inevitability to its advantage in a multitude of ways to service its story.

As much as I enjoyed this episode, the IG-12 Grogu mech felt stupid as hell.

I'm hoping like a poster said above that Grogu saves the day. But I wouldn't be surprised if Luke and even Boba Fett show up for the rescue.

I think that eventually IG-12 is going to get either a jet pack or rocket boosters that will allow Grogu to fly...

Best episode of the season and while that’s not saying much, it actually feels like the show I eagerly ate up in 2019 and 2020 is back. And it had to be with the last two of three episodes of the season too.

It was absolutely surreal to see a gathering of
Pellaeon played by Xander Berkeley and Brendol Hux played by Brian Gleeson discussing the return of Thrawn. Project Necromancer, I can’t imagine that’s the Sidious cloning project given the First Order was shocked that he returned. Actual Death Troopers?

Also the opening shots on Coruscant were gorgeous.

This was a great episode once again for Bo and Katee Sackhoff really knocks it out of the park, giving us some valuable new meat to chew on. Her moment with Din was really touching and sincere.

Grogu didn’t get to do much but it’s also surreal to see he’s growing up and wants to participate in the adventure.

The big battle was awesome. Pure awesome.
Paz pulling a Hodor was sad but epic, but the mic drop were the three Praetorian Guards. That chorus and the way they completely stopped him was amazing. I sincerely pray that Paz stays dead because what a hell of a death scene.

What a banger of an episode.

This was definitely one of the best episodes this season. Unlike the past couple episodes that had some really good parts but felt tonally inconsistent, this episode all felt like one story instead of several awkwardly stitched together. Unfortunately some stuff was spoiled by the early showing at Celebration, but that didn't hurt my enjoyment too much.

I'm torn on Baby Yoda's mech suit. On one hand I thought that whole sequence was super funny and charming. But on the other hand, it is ultimately Baby Yoda in a freaking mech suit. You can kind of see the executives saying "you gotta put this in there, it'll sell a whole bunch of toys". But for what it was, it was executed well.

I actually think it's kind of cool they worked in some Sequel connections, like Hux and the Pretorian Guards. And I think it's fairly obvious this is all building to cloning Palpatine, with "Operation Necromancer" and all the talk of cloning. I mean, love them or hate them the Sequels are canon, and it makes more sense to try and add more context to stuff like Palaptine's return than just sweep them under the rug. Let's not forget a lot of people hated the Prequels until the Clone Wars explained some stuff.

Paz's last stand was goddamn glorious! Dude just mowing down those Jet Troopers like a boss 'til his gun overheated... then he tossed the damn thing at one because fuck you that's why! Then it was time for some Smackdown! Mandalorian style! The Praetorian Guard being retroactively introduced like that was boss as hell, too. Much better intro than that bullshit in Last Jedi with one of being killed by an editing mistake. The best final stand I've seen in Star Wars ever (Except for Heavy in Clone Wars)

Those shots of Coruscant were some awesome Blade Runner shit. Half expected a much younger Harrison Ford to stroll past.

Totally agree your point about them doing something ala clone wars to flesh out the sequels. I thought the same thing and it is much needed.
