Finally!!! After following this project since 2018, the King is finally completed!!! What an absolutely unit of a combiner!!!! Loving every moment of it!!!

 

First off, I just gotta say these pictures being posted are awesome.

I'm trying to combine mine now, but I can't slide the combiner foot onto Hugerhino... any tips? Landbull can slot into either foot with no problem.

 

Yeah, Hugerhino is the tricky one. But it's not really Hugerhino, but probably the feet? The trick to that is making sure the feet are on a flat surface and also that everything with the foot is lined up correctly in order for Hugerhino to slide in the foot and connect properly. If any part of the foot is off even by the slightest, then that's where the problem begins. Once you have everything lined up correctly, then getting Hugerhino into the foot should be a breeze..

 

EmGo's video shows how it should go very clearly. I recommend giving that a watch.

 

For those who wanted to see it and have asked about this in the past, here's TK with his new pet. This is the 4th mode I told you guys about dealing with Feral Rex. Now, they're both together in all their glory..

I can't believe this has only just occurred to me, but here's a tasty little question for you all: Where in the name of slithering soddery do you put a Decepticon logo on this guy?

The belt piece is the obvious spot, but it's angled outward too sharply and ends up looking rubbish. Apart from that I have absolutely no idea, except maybe put a little one on the lion forehead?

Urrrgh, I do hate it when they don't leave a spot for the insignia...

 

I've been thinking about this as well lol. I prefer somewhere that's only visible exclusively in this mode and so far that leaves me with the combined mode forehead.

 

I just put them on where it made sense on the individual bots. So most of their beast foreheads gets one, then mostly on any flat surface i can find on their chest piece. So for Thorilla one ends up being one of the combiner skirt.

 

I still haven’t attempted to combine these guys . . . they all just look so damn good individually that I don’t feel any rush to.

As soon as I get a nice long 4 day weekend from work I might.

Hello again, does anyone have experience taking apart CT Rampage? No pictures for now sadly, but I'm interested specifically about elbow joint: one of forearm halves came out of elbow joint connector. Probably bad explanation, but I'm lost even where to start, I've looked around his arm and found no screws to start with, so it must be hidden somewhere

 

Haha nice! I'm also keeping Thunderking with the T-Beasts and PE Lio Convoy! I went all in on this set to give them some baddies to fight.

 

Mini Divebomb looks really nice with his MP counterparts. Posing Thunderking is so difficult due to how tight the joint not to mention how heavy is figure is.

 

I think I just might transform TK again into individual bots at one point. All my other combiners stay combined (my GT ones I leave because I fear they will break apart and XTB Menasor just looks awesome), but with this set I feel that all modes look awesome in their own right.

 

What Bumblebee is that? Is he from the same company who made the Sideswipe that turns into a bull?

That looks really good. Probably my favorite one yet. Have you decided how you’re going to do monkey pants yet?

 

Most likely black and gold, with red and orange accents, but first I want to wait and see how the rest looks in combined mode. Maybe just entirely yellow works too.
