I just wish People didn't do Convention exclusive Bots. I think MMC have it right there where there is a exclusive Deco, and then a mass retail version.
FH limiting Bossman to 600 units world wide just makes me :(

My only thought on this is that they know they aren’t planning the rest of them, or if they do it will be a different colour scheme. They wouldn’t do a new mould for scorch…

Question is, which is my next custom? This guy, shatter, hatchet, dinoking, sentinel, chop shop, sg rodimus. So many choices.

First anniversary of loosing mum today. Still doesn't feel fully real or that long. Think today is gonna need a lot of distractions.

£3.50 including postage and I still feel ripped off. I hate this little shit. What was I thinking?

To be fair the car's pretty good (not as nice as the Universe legends toy), the robot mode is the best he's ever looked, and the transformation is surprisingly involved. It's just that... it's Wheelie. If it was anyone else I'd really like it. Must divorce the toy from the rubbish cartoon, Hobart!

That it's still the best toy of the li'l prick, and the SS86 is a complete waste of "improved" engineering?

    :bday  Weekend, @Genodectes!!!

Condolences, @Insurgent, look after yourself, Bub.

Up late today because I ended up in a J-hole reading Hama's sadly now curtailed IDW ARAH continuation, I only popped over to try and find Sean Collins first appearance as 'Throwdown' (not great but still a better codename than "Kamakura"), and ended up getting sucked into Hama's classic comics melodrama & action.
FYI Comics Vine is wrong that he appears #155.5, or any issue thus far up to#177 but, Wow, Hama still has the chops to engage you, well, older fans at least - I suspect young 'uns might find his style rather hokey these post-comics decompression days but the man gives good action cheese, and clearly still writes by issue rather than aiming for trades, even down to the old school exposition dialogue that let's you know what's going on even if the current in media res issue is your first.

Yeah, pretty much. As I added in an edit, the car's pretty good (although the Universe legends has it beat for alt-mode), the robot mode is good (and like you say, the best-looking Wheelie we've had), and the transformation is surprisingly interesting. If it was another character I'd really like it, which isn't at all fair on the toy. It's not it's fault it was made into Wheelie, and it's a better toy than the character deserves. I'm sure if it was up to the toy it'd have been Jazz or Tigertrack...

You can't just tease me with SG Rodimus and then not follow through. That's a strange and unusual type of torture!
Look after yourself brother, sending love.
I actually quite like him, he's on my movie shelf. I imagined the studio series one is probably better, but not enough of an improvement for me to actually go and buy him.

My list for March's Altar of Acquisition, my budget spreadsheet makes this very easy to list:

    Legacy Inferno
    Hot Toys 89 Batman deposit
    Legacy Override
    Mcfarlane Hush Batman and Superman
    SW BS RC Scorch
    Lego Speed Chamions Ferrari 812
Upgrade kits for Inferno and Waspie
GI Joe Classified Bazooka (due for delivery this afternoon)
    ML Happy Hogan/Mk 21 suit 2 pack
    Legacy Arcee and Road Rocket
    SW BS Favreau/Paz Viszla
    9 PC games

I need to iron out some kinks on my budget spreadsheet as the numbers didnt quit add up as i expected, I either underestimated one of my outgoings or forgot to add a purchase, but it will be very helpful once its working properly

There is no denying it, transforming hound was an absolute ordeal. It's all panels that just fold back and forth on each other. There's no solid parts.
I think I finally understand why people buy two of each toy, one for each mode... It's going to be a while before I transform him again!

Anyone got this guy? Quick question about the chest piece. It doesn't say so on the instructions, but I really feel like this bit is meant to come down somehow:

    PXL_20230325_123207275~2.jpg

There's even what looks like a hinge there, but I can't seem to make it work:

Take all the care bud, use as many distractions as you need to, grief takes as long as it takes. There’s no timeline and hope there’s lots of good things around you to help distract and keep you busy

All the very best wishes to you @Insurgent .

Regarding Wheelie, I’ve got both the SS86 version and the TR one - and the TR one is definitely the better toy!

Finally managed to get some risers, and display is starting to take some shape and be a little more cohesive.
