Well I certainly hope so. I actually like the recent Elita mold and thought it was a step in the right direction.

Ah, thanks. Though that looks too movieish to fit in a mainly G1 line

Yea, those rumors were flat out BS. If I'm not mistaken, the only thing that actually got canceled from Earthrise (allegedly) was the Earth mode Sideswipe, which is corroborated by the lone missing number in the Earthrise numbering (WFC-E28 if memory serves), and that ultimately ended up coming out in Kingdom

I'm less inclined to believe the Magnus rumors considering there's only 1 gap in the Earthrise numbering. Call me a skeptic, but we were getting a lot of BS "leaks" at the time. It may be that an Ultra Magnus using the ER Prime cab was the initial idea but never made it past the drawing board and got canceled before the line even really started, but as it stands, there's really only one confirmed cancellation from Earthrise (WFC-E28) and nobody really knows what that one is, though at the time it was alleged to be Sideswipe.

Hmm, an aerial Deception capsule. Throw in Sunstorm from ER, Bitsream from Siege, a Predator off Needlenose (?). Blackout and Junglescream in the second wave of the G2 capsule, AM Thundercracker in Shattered Glass, G2 Starscream whaerever because it's Starscream...we could get the whole squadron completed soon, plus some diverse bots.

All good choices. An aerial themed Decepticons of repaint like that would sell pretty well I think

What if instead of the Siege or ER molds, Nacelle and future Seekers used the Reactivate/Rise Starscream base mold?

I think they'd need to use multiple molds if they did a seeker themed capsule. Maybe not JUST the ones listed but a couple of new ones.

I think they could do an Origins Seeker mold that's more cartoon accurate and used alongside Siege for variety. Maybe an Energon Starscream/Cyberjet mold.

Maybe Armada Starscream should be in there as well.

I'm curious if Studio Series Starscream is a different mold because of the hands. I could see there being multiple molds with mostly identical seeker tooling.

In general, I think a couple of crucial things are:

No more than one of a mold. Molds get tied up in production. When Marvel Legends does multiple Spider-Men close together (even when they're the same person under the mask at the same age) they use different molds for each. Look at their two Ben Reilly figures coming up. Different heights even and from the same 6 or so issue run.

Different size classes. Capsules are almost never just one size class.

I wouldn't fundamentally object to there being two G1 Cybertronian seeker types and another Earth mold that replaces Earthrise but with Earthrise still in use for some characters IF the heights are consistent and there are noticeable visual differences that make them feel distinct while still aiming for the same mission of G1 animation inspired.

Again, there are something like four molds primarily used for Peter Parker as Spider-Man and they're all in use alongside one another.

Likewise, characters like Thor, Iron Man, Colossus, and Sabretooth are represented by completely different molds that are used almost simultaneously.

Having a couple variations on the more common style of seeker makes sense to me, possibly with different engineering and panel lining, so long as the results in each mode reasonably reflect an interpretation of a G1 seeker and have robot mode scale consistency.

Maybe, but doubtful. Mainline releases typically precede exclusive repaints, and we don't even know if Reactivate is getting figures or if the Rise Starscream design ever made it to any stage of physical production (like molds getting made).

Deluxe Needlenose for one of the Predators
    Voyager siege for Nacelle
    voyage earthrise for Sunstorm
Leader Prime Skyquake for G1 Skyquake

Agree they wouldn’t use the same mold multiple tune in a wave. This is already a good start. I’m sure Armada Starscream could be used as well

Don't know how much the designs may have changed going from Rise to Reactivate, but we do know a voyager Rise/"Shine" Starscream is supposedly coming:

Nacelle? Always a surprise. Actually I'm surprised they didn't push capsule lines always had a seeker. They're are a million options and three quarters of them are named.
