Nacelle could be a G1 Cartoon accurate Cybertronian Jet.

 

I’d rather they use the ER mould to be honest, I mean the siege mould is fantastic, but the robot mode isn’t amazingly accurate, and they’ve kinda moved away from the hyper greebling of siege

 

Burn-out and Crasher aren't good examples IMO. Crasher never looked too feminine aside from the face (so yeah, we should have gotten a new head sculpt), and Burn-Out is just throwing a character onto a Diaclone car. At the very least we have probably left the likes of TR Nautica behind. I mean, we're getting RID15 Strongarm and Cyberverse Shadow Striker. I'd be surprised if those molds weren't created with those characters as the design priority and whatever remolds are coming as a secondary consideration.

 

Even with my tired eyes it's obvious that there is a fourth bot behind Hotlink in the Welcoming Committee shot.

Is that bot and all their colors an animation error? Probably, as the show was notorious for having them, but there's no doubt a fourth bot is in that shot as you see the arm, the white of his face on his head, and the shoulder intake next to his head.

 

I was basically saying Nacelle could be like Origin Bumblebee and Jazz.

 

I like feminine Transformers using "masculine" moulds anyway. Ratchet was originally supposed to be a woman, Starscream's commonly read as feminine, part of thats the voice Im sure but theres also the triangle figure it cuts with the wings folded down the two fans on the chest and the high heels, then of course you have Strika,

and most Transformers designs are not so much covered in masculine things so much as lacking in feminine, far as aesthetics are concerned. Sometimes they have abs and even then, its not like women do not have abs we just associate that with men for reasons. Imo It helps diversify the genders as much as new moulds do. Now sure, the new-mould gender bias is an issue I would like to see resolved and one could call a Burnout a product of that but I am not going to get mad about her, Road Rage or anyone else. I would not necessarily want that to stop is the thing. I will be miffed at the one new girl mould a year for sure though.

Can even repaint the feminine moulds into men, for either a lithe agile look or twinks. Maybe not the ones with just boobs sculpted onto them but those are kind of the worst ones anyway.

Me too. I do not think its the popular opinion but as nice as the Siege figure is I have them both on display together and certainly prefer the ER mould. Looks more right. Plus, thats not from MTMTE, its not even from FunPub, this is a prototype 1985 Seeker.
Though I would pick it up on the Siege mould, the colours are neat and it would match IDW2019. But the prototype novelty is cooler.

Hooray for Nacelle. Now, bring on Sunstorm in glorious creamscicle orange and white! None of that pansy yellow they try to always stick on him in copious amounts.

Because it's also just wrong. Sunstorm is not more obscure than Nacelle, Hotlink, and Red "Literally Who" Wing. Or Black Roritchi, or that blue guy from the G2 line, or that other desert Conehead, or half of the Diaclone repaints from Selects. And all of them got figures.

IIRC that also came from the same batch of rumors that said Hasbro isn't doing Tidal Wave because they don't want to print "Product does not float" on the box which is literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard

 

Yeah anyone with any working knowledge of the brand can easily figure out that rumor makes zero sense.

 

Agreed, honestly that whole G2 unreleased subline proves that was fake. I feel like Sunstorm is more known than Tasmanian Kid yet we are getting him next year or even Detrius.

I do not care, Sunstorm being "too obscure" is demonstrably incorrect with all of the recent releases I mentioned

 

I believed they also said Lockdown was cancelled for Earthrise, which I honestly find laughable. Earthrise was 98% G1, excluding some random Battlemasters no one remembers. Logically, why would they do a sea of G1 characters, then randomly add an Animated character for no reason? It doesn't really make any sense.

 

Nacelle's original toy (from the TFCC) was a redeco of Starscream using Thrust's wings. So it won't be exactly the same mold. I hope.

 

If it was just a head swap repaint, then it makes pretty simple sense.

 

It probably was the IDW version not the TFA version.

 

Also just our only reason for why he might have been in Legacy was for the card game there was art for him and also Deadlock.
