Shame the Hasbro Outlet store didn't have a Cheap Ironhide I still don't have either of the Deluxe or Voyager yet.

The Ark is something I "should have" Liked but to be honest i'd need to spend a crap ton more money on mine to get it up to standard, and at the end of the day I just couldn't be bothered to do so.

I think for those who collect the Dr. Wu Mini Transforming figures then it goes with those nicely and it's not terrible as a spaceship. (well after you buy it some after market bits it's not terrible) But the robot mode I can only really recommend to those who want to use it with the forthcoming Nemesis Titan Class....

Or to put it this way if you have the others.. buy this if you are not that bothered you're not missing much.

I will play russian rulette a bit with the Hasbro store perhaps and keep an eye on the stock levels of the Fuzors and hope they last a couple of days. then maybe I can buy some more... I know i'll use them it's just super inconvenient timing so close to the Release of the Diaclone Grandion as it is.

Heck, metallic yellow would have got me because it's clear that the Ark is coded as golden in the flat animation colours they had to work with.

I might have even caved if they'd kept the clear parts the Autobot Blue the renders promised initially but Hasbro saving themselves some money on the ol' gal/guy ultimately saved me some of mine!

I might be tempted on a sale or if anyone only wants Dion. Interesting to see a retool of the Flamewar mold (   ) some have said she's also only a headswap away from looking a lot like Energon I think it was Arcee too?

Well, I really like my copy. The only common problem I've had is that yeah, the ship could clip together better but it's not terrible, and I've never had any problems with the shoulder ratchets. I got mine for £110 via @Apollux , so I'd say the ebay price is a steal! I gather he's not great if you're particularly bothered by the playset playstyle, but I'm not bothered about that.

I feel like they've called her 'Eriel' to evade the wrath of the Mouse, especially with a new Little Mermaid movie on the way. Though as someone in the UK TF Discord pointed out, Eriel also creates a bit of continuity between Eriel -> Elita in much the same way as Orion -> Optimus  
And nice spot re: Nancy. I could see them reusing this tooling for her too.

As for Ladybug, fingers crossed they'll sort it out. I suppose the problem for someone like Hasbro getting the license is that Bandai are involved in making/funding the show (I'm not sure which) but Bandai are able to make higher quality figures, and Ladybug shows no signs of going anywhere so never say never! There's several characters I'd love in the 1/12th scale too, not to mention villains!

Edit: I'm also pleased with myself that I resisted temptation to get some of the more Sunbow style figs in the sale like some of the Wreckers. Definitely think I'll be moving on more of my Sunbowish G1 style figs. Ironically enough a lot of the ones not going anywhere are Revenant Prime's forces. I'm sure there's no commentary on my tastes going on that the more G1 looking figs in my collection are re-animated corpses  
Edit2: Also after having Twitch in hand, I can see me being heavily in for Earthspark toys going forward! ^_^

It's not far off in bot mode, but that nose is a bit too sharp and flat for Energon Arcee's bike front IMHO, the original was closer to regular LegArcee's more blubous curves...

"Erial"s is too flattened and pointy, though I joked about Street Hawk it occurred to me that new nose styling was quite reminiscent of G1 Override's fairing "nose", and I wonder whether we may see him fembodied from that figure tooling?

 

Ah that's a shame. Clawful, Webstor, Whiplash and Slush Head all look great. Though I note the use of the words 'deluxe' and 'oversized' so I'm assuming they cost extra due to all the accessories.

Same here, they look great in dragon mode but I realised I'm never going to change them back to dice mode so there's no point in me buying one.

Hoping we see some more leaks over the next few weeks. Fingers crossed there's a fan event in April.

 

Erial/Ariel and Dion are a bit of a surprise. I quite like how we get mainline leaks early on, sating our collective lust for insider info, but then all the sublines and capsules keep dropping short-notice surprises too.

I won't pick this up but I'm keen for them to keep making obscurities, because it keeps belief alive we'll get, say, Velocity or Tappet.

In the UK you'll be talking around £40 whether deluxe (read 'accessories you won't use') or oversized. Slush Head and Whiplash are store exclusives likely making them £50+ here.

It could have been a 500m dollar brand again within 3 years on the toys alone if Mattel had actually made the figures available to everybody from the get go. Many never started collecting Origins because the figures were and are a nightmare to buy. Masterverse began life as a questionable aesthetics toyline to a toxic TV show and even now they're still making completely unnecessary design choices so often people pick and choose at best. I mean it's bad when month to month a die hard like me continually asks if it's worth it.

Convention exclusives can just fuck the fuck off as far as I’m concerned. Being a massive hypocrite, of course, I do own two (and want another).

Nacelle sounds interesting, though, curious to see what he’s like. He won’t be the Siege mould of course, or a core Seeker, so I won’t be buying him - but interested in the lad’s progress nevertheless.

Hopefully Nacelle is an actual Voyager Earthrise Thrust repaint. then at least we won't "Only" be getting Ramjet.
Maybe they could do a Shattered Glass 3 pack sometime at least that is one way for people to get the moulds.

Incidentally since the Green/Blue/Yellow Siege jet 3 pack is on sale again I will just mention my original one has now discoloured but I think I actually prefer it now it look less plain now it's 2 shades of the same colour across them all.

Re: The new reveals I find that smash changer like Optimus Primal interesting as he looks quite a lot like he's based on Beast Machines Optimus Primal specifically and not the Movie one "as such".

The alternative Scourge is kinda interesting too, I like the design, shame the implementation is terrible, but if I see it on heavy sale I'd buy it.

If anyone remembers the oversize Beast Hunters (Cyberverse Commanders) as large Voyagers that sort of style for a kids line I'd be 100% up for as those were genuinely good toys the compromises didn't make them useless as figures. & the Optimus had all 6 wheels that moved too.

Maybe they need to do something more like that and less horrible gimmick stuff that is fun for like 5 minutes until you discover it has less play value than a Rescue Bot has.

I'm happy with my sale purchases, I put off buying Gi Joe Classified Barbeque from the Hasbro eBay store as I didn't much care for him to buy him up until now but as less than Half Price I'm very happy with him. I hope the Dicelings I bought are at least reasonable too (i.e. not a pile of suck like the Core Class Dinobots)

Got a Pulse email for the Retro Zartan figure I'd always intended to cancel because he was attached to Retro Snake Eyes, and since Snake Eyes was still available for PO I cancelled both and just ordered Snakey alongside the Valkyrie pack for a July decision... (if you believe them).
