That post is almost three months old, I've had him for a while now. Thanks though, I appreciate the callout :)

Wait, isn't MMC bruticus MP scaled? Just surprised it is so much shorter than Raiden.

So does it fit with other "CHUG" combiner like MMC Feral Rex, GT Gravity builder, UT Ordin etc?

MMC does MP scaled individuals and combined mode height comes out where it does without extra parts (though the torso figure is large to accomodate combiner parts) which limits it's max height. TW/Zeta/Moon along with XTB and DX9 (and FT when they finally finish one) used external parts to increase the size of combined mode. Depending on who you ask either one could be considered MP size with some people rejecting MMC due to being to short and others rejecting the larger ones for using parts. You simply have to decide which approach is right for you.

Thank you. I have all my combiners at the scale of MMC Feral Rex, so if the MMC ones are near the same height, it will be a bonus. I always think they are much taller until today.

I believe that depends on how you have Razorclaw's thighs set (there were 3 height levels), but it is still a good bit taller than MMC's Feral Rex. There is an OSKO of Feral Rex though that is closer. I think this pic is with Rex's shortest height, plus Assaultus is a little taller with the add-on boots. Keep in mind Feral Rex is from the Reformatted line and almost a decade old now, it wasn't meant to be the same scale (more with Generations than MP). Pic courtesy of LazyAza.

Yep - I thoroughly enjoy the side-by-side photos that people post of their 3P combiners. Its abundantly clear that TW Constructor and MS Raiden were designed by the same team. Zeta are improving their work with each new project they release.

Thanks for reminding me that Bombusbee STILL haven't sorted out the part I need for Green Zone. That was last bloody year, n'all. Are Moon Studio hard to get replacement parts from, or are Bombusbee just playing silly buggers?

Anyone on the east coast (DMV area) looking for a full combiner set? I can cut you a good deal if you can pick up. Shipping will be prohibitively expensive. Dm me :)

Finally put this guy together! What? About 8 months since I completed the set.

He’s one big and heavy guy!
He has a tendency to lean forward and he’s a little crooked: left side seems a little shorter.
Also, Cool Peak can’t handle the weight of his gun, which really sucks! I’ve had them in train mode since completing the set. Not even in robot mode. So it sucks that the ratchet in Cool Peak can’t handle the gun.

Anyone else experience similar problems with Cool Peak and Raiden? 932EE74F-ECED-4E77-A41D-61E0ACDA06CE.jpeg

I've had mine in combined mode the moment I completed the team with him posed in my den on shelf holding a "V" hand pose and the arm has not slumped at all.
On that same note he took a fall from said shelf the other day and held up just fine, the chest shield was the only part to come off and some of the panels came untabed but no damage.

No he dwarfs them all. This is a very big bot

I'm disassembling the combined mode and running into a problem getting Moon Shine disconnected from Iron Arm. Anyone have any tips on how I can get these two apart with breaking something?
