That's just how it was produced. More Than Meets the Eye was made as the first few episodes of season 1 (and similarly Five Faces of Darkness was the first few episodes of season 3) and not as an individual production run like Rebirth was, so it's very short but still a distinct season.

Kids have been firing g2 stunticons down a ramp for the last 30 mins while my wife has squirreled herself away to relax for mothers day.

Of course she also has contracted covid too, because the universe has a terrible sense of humour

You are beautiful, thank you! Will order this evening.

Booo! hiss! The Rebirth was a wonderful cartoon and I'll not hear a bad word about it!

Isn't it funny how it is all defined entirely by what you watched as a kid. We have three Transformers tapes More Than Meets the Eye (1-3), The Movie and The Return of Op/The Rebirth.
That's it, that was the entirety of Transformers fiction for me.
On the other hand, I just can't get on board with generally beloved robots like Powerglide and Beachcomber!

There was a point when my long covid was at its worst, and I had pretty much accepted i wasn't coming out of it. I suddenly felt really guilty about all these toys that my wife would have to deal with. That really stayed with me for some reason.

Finding out about toy fu was a game changer, suddenly I had an answer for her, just give them all there.

Now with @Convoy being a regular at my home, I recently told my wife the new plan:

    1) ask @Convoy to have a dig through and try and sell anything that what significantly helped financially.

    2) Let friends and family come and take anything they want to keep.

    3) Toy Fu the rest.

Sorry I didn't mean to go morbid all of a sudden, I just meant I feel more comfortable having a plan and don't feel the need to sell off my toys before the end.

Man I totally get this! I did a mega sale once and it took so much out of me for some reason. Lucky to have @Convoy here to help me sell stuff.
Re: charity shop or Toy Fu, I always think with charity shops, they don't really know the value of the items, So you're not really getting the maximum possible outcome for charity. Toy Fu does that right? Plus toys end up in the hands of collectors. And a lot of people are happy to spend more knowing the money is going to charity than they would otherwise. TFN isn't far off, It's worth sending sales to them.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to your wife!

Okay, just caught up with Thew's Banzaitron blustering, and I have only just realised thanks to the embiggened detailing that Bazai-tron *IS* an unproduced Action Master Bludgeon's pre-colour!

Come on, what's the "M" for? METALLIKATO!!! He's very obviously, and possibly the first, Pretender shell merged with the inner robot mode and alt - he's even got the tank turret top shield as his rucksack! That ROTF recolour was *NOT* the @$$-pull I always took it for! And yet even TF Wiki doesn't document this? Surely it's been spotted before?

This is also my endgame. Baby steps first, need a new house with an office/study for some dedicated display, but I'm going to ensure by the time I hit 60 I've got a loft or spare garage where I can spend the next decade setting up a magnificent diorama :)
There's still time. That Metalhawk re-tool of Kingdom Cyclonus is fairly recent. Plus what with the retool of kingdom Airrazor into the RotB line I wouldn't be surprised if they've planned some partials from the RotB Studio Series line back into the generations mainline.
I'm feeling a little that way towards my Marvel Legends collection. I do really like the characters and enjoy the figures. But I don't really mess with them in the way I pull TFs off the shelf to transform them or just rearrange the shelves.

Might cut back down to just essential Avengers, Spider-Man and key villains.

Having said that, just got the retro animated Iron man, purely for the plasma canon, but the nostalgia is almost overwhelming. He might even replace the 70s Ironman in my current lineup.

Still can't believe he was *right there* all along, that's more ninja than samurai, innit?

These two have become desk-regulars. Both really fun to mess with, and quick and easy to transform…

This is a very good point, thank you!

Definite samurai vibe, I’d say. Sorry.

What is Toy Fu? I’ve seen it mentioned a couple of times.

Hang on! And Razor-sharp is Octopunch stuck in alt. mode yet still able to semi-transform into a weaponizer, suddenly Banzai-tron makes total sense!
I wonder why they went with a different deco and character names in the end?

Assuming I get that far, my collection is going to fund my retirement!

I'll be selling off those MISB Wingfinger's to 2035 collectors desperate for a hit of 2020's nostalgia.

(Well, assuming that everything made post 2019 hasn't dissolved into its component molecules by 2030 - nice job fixing that 'yellowing' issue Hasbro)
