No photos to share, and the official adverts say until the 17th. There is a lot of commotion in the area due to the South by Southwest festival that is ongoing, but it was neat to visit.

Word around the campfire from a certain friend was that Origins Jazz was showing up in Dallas and I happened to be near the area so...

During my last hunting around Katy and West Houston I noticed that most Walmart has mostly Wave 1 Legacy, tons of DragstripS and SkidS. I am puzzled on the poor distribution choices, but one thing appear to be clear, Hasbro wants us to buy from Pulse.

That's all my local Walmart ever has either. Them, Jhiaxus, and Galvatron and Blitzwing. They did recently get newer Studio Series stuff though.

Yeah, all the Walmarts I have been to around Tomball got restocks of Legacy 1 Deluxes.

Also, if you need to find wave 2 Legacy Deluxes, check Kroger Marketplaces. I actually hit the Kroger Marketplace off 99/Morton Ranch Rd weeks ago and they had tons of wave 2 Legacy Deluxes (including Wildrider). However, their normal price is $32.99 but with a Kroger card they had them priced around $26-$27. I got my wave 2 deluxes off Pulse during their Warehouse sale - minus Wildrider of course as I bought him when he was first released.

Anything new in Mesquite? Looking specifically for Tarn.

I unfortunately already sold my Cosmos during a break from TFW, sorry.

This post has me thinking my post was misinterpreted. What I meant was...

I have a couple MISB Cosmos to trade.
I'm looking to get a TR Misfire. Now that I'm revisiting this; Im also looking for TR Sixshot.

Hey y'all. I just wanted to pop in and say that, if any of you see a Breakdown in Dallas, totally lemme know. Please.

I am winding down on my collecting but Breakdown, despite how I feel is not a great figure, eludes me and my Menasor.

Also... To anyone new to collecting, I can't stress enough how much better pre-ordering/buying online can be than hunting in person. Just my two cents lol

I think "better" deserves further definition. If it means "to have them all in a timely manner" then I am with you 100%. However for me part of the hobby is the hunt, the "wow" factor of seeing a restock and then chase. To be honest given the recent strategic distribution that Hasbro has shown it is clear that they want us to buy from Pulse, but it will never give me the same vibes.
This is obviously my personal opinion

My definition of better means you can actually get the figure you're looking for versus risking not getting it because Hasbro decided to not make enough.

I think it's entirely reasonable to suggest that, for most people who collect and want toys and figs, actually having the figure in hand is worth missing out on "the hunt" if the alternative is not having it at all...

Which we all know is becoming the norm for a few figures.

These days with gas at 3+ a gallon, preordering and paying for shipping might just be cheaper than driving around trying to find anything
