Optimus Primal looks like Rhinox in a state of undress.

 

Rhinox, What happened man? You used to be so young and eager! And now, You are hardly a shell of your old self. A really, REALLY old shell at that.

 

My brother in Primus, every movie line has been like that

 

Not really. All of the previous movies has characters with matching aesthetics. The designs in this movie don’t mesh well compared to each other.


Oh, and paraphrasing that meme doesn’t come off that you think it does.

 

I think they look fine together. The Maximals will look different from the Autobots for obvious reasons.

 

He has seen thing we mortals can not even begin to imagine. He wishes for death, a quick and painless one.

 

The beasts have some wildly different designs on these toys. There’s a cheetor that looks like a movie-fied season 1 BW cheetor and the rest look somewhat similar/ share a look that isn’t that. There’s a primal figure with a big boxy all blue chest, evoking G1 prime moreso than anything in the movie line.

Mira like the designers didn’t even share a reference pic of what the character looks like. There was inconsistency in previous lines, but not THAT bad

 

The image looks like he has a mohawk from Rhino horns on his head.

No, not from retail, the person who shared these said pics were from an exhibition. These might be released in April. These are all the pics he shared.

 

Mexico and Taiwan seem to be getting most of these first... have there been any reports on Rhinox being found out in the wild, yet?
