Ugly is a strong word. How about garish? Garish was in. And that was really only during the early 90’s.

Myself, I'll never understand the appeal of the neon colours stuff and these aren't for me either, then again, some argue that they like gappy empty toys that look like crap...

It was an era when we wore clothing with colors so loud they could be heard inside a bank vault...

While there is admittedly some 90s nostalgia going on for me, I just find the different color schemes refreshing. After dozens upon hundreds of robots in shades of mostly red, blue, grey, and black, its a fun change of pace to see one in lime-green or cloud-pattern. I only picked up Cloudcover but I'm glad to see them taking a risk with some weird color schemes. However, that packaging is pure 90s Nickelodeon-style nostalgia with those bright secondary colors and oozy 'toxic' theme and I'm very into it. These might be the first Generations figures where I actually keep the packaging.

Bit of an unnecessary dig at people just having their fun, mate.

How was that a "dig".. I simply state that I don't understand why some like neon colours as it doesn't look good or right to me? That doesn't imply that they can't enjoy them.

Seriously have you ever like Transformers? You seem to only post in this thread and criticize every Transformers era. Has there ever been a line that you actually liked?

I am genuinely curious. They only ever post negative things about Transformers of pretty much any era so I just want to know what era they actually enjoyed so much that nothing else is good in comparison.

I think it’s fine to focus on the positives and negatives of the toys or the media, but when you turn the focus to an individual on the boards, you’re breaking the rules. No personal inquisitions.

He asked a single question and is merely curious as to what said user actually enjoys, why does everyone here got a rod up their rear

I think if such a question is directed at someone in a hostile of confrontational way, then yes. Reading the exchange in context sounds like the start of an ugly argument.

And then you shove your head in and instead of doing anything you just point out that 'argue bad' before anything happens. Just to be annoying

What do you suggest I do, exactly? If a moderator wants to step in, that’s their prerogative.
