If I had any complaints... His hands don't seem to want to tab the weapon handles in. It's friction holding them in right now, but if I shook him even just a bit, they'd come flying out most likely. And zero ground clearance in vehicle mode with nose piece attached.

It's probably a longshot, but I will trade my MISB Bossman for a FH Arson in excellent condition. I will ship him directly from my Chosen Prime stash to you.

 

Need some education. Are bossman, arson and wheelblade somehow related? I have absolutely no idea but like bossman and plan to pick up arson (well, very difficult). wheelblade is still available on TCP but I have also read some QC nightmare in her forum.

 

I believe the only relation between the 3 is just TCP getting an exclusive out of each of the Autobot Headmaster Jr molds from FH. Unless you feel the need to complete all the trios from those molds (Masterforce decos, Western decos, Exclusives) then I don't see any reason to go out of your way for figures that don't appeal to you.

 

Boss (man) was a Turbomaster in Europe and Japan. Pyro (Arson) was a G2 Obliterator. Wheelblade is IDW's Windblade using the Minerva/Nightbeat mold. They're just TCP picks that FH was willing to produce for them for various TFCons.

EDIT: For anyone who gets their Boss (or has it already) I recommend loosening the screw in the thigh one or two turns. The leg will slide in and out much easier with it being slightly loose. If you tighten it, you could risk breaking it during transformation.

 

Ah poo, I missed him. I did not expect TCP to put him up so soon. IIRC, it was like three weeks between TFcon and Delta Baser going live, right?

 

I just looked mine up, I ordered on October 26th after TFCon ended on October 23rd. Based on that this was listed 1 day faster than Delta Baser was, unless I ordered a day late (I don't remember).

I'll take a quick look - Looks like I bought Delta Baser off of the website on Tuesday October 25, and TFCon wrapped up on Sunday October 23.

 

For the 3 weeks after TFCon you might be thinking of the preorders for FT Cliffjumper, Blaster and Powerglide. Those took an unusually long time to go up after TFCon last October, and so far looks like Gears, Swerve and Scourge might do the same (or they could be up tomorrow).

 

If the nose piece is touching the ground when attached then you don't have it on all the way. I had the same issue until i played around with it and got it on properly.

I love this figure. It was a good deal for $80. Lots of accessories and a great appearance. This thing came out so late in G1 that I was no longer into Transformers as a kid (more like teen) when it did. Same for Double Dealer. Getting into characters that are new for me has been one of the best parts of collecting Transformers later in life. I only bought this because it was an exclusive, maybe to sell it later for profit when it goes up in value but that plan is no longer in existence. I am keeping it and maybe getting more late G1 masterpiece scale figures. This is a great keepsake from a great convention.
