No word by who, or anything.

Anyone got any info on this?

 

It's by A17, the guy who makes a bunch of customs with Iron Factory. It's under his Great Works line, which made that legends scale non-transforming IDW Optimus.

The prototype is bigger than the planned sized of 12cm, presumably in robot mode.

 

So it’s a legends scale predicon?

 

It should be if that IF Bruticus is anything to go by. Hopefully Predaking is a bit bigger than Bruticus.

clever design, not 100% sold.

 

Looks awful big for legends, but if it's not a pantsformer (looks like probably not) I'll buy it. Need some good G1 accurate small predacons. Those weirdly styled ones were not for me.

 

Not a huge fan of the mane. Colors also need a saturation boost.

 

Pretty good, but yeah, really big for a Legends offering. if they got him down to 10-11cm I'd pick it up more enthusiastically than the Cang offering.

Razorclaw looks good, the other ones not so much, maybe because they are cartoon accurate

 

Bot and 'tis a flesh wound' modes look good, but the lion mode is iffy, mostly cause the lion legs look too slim.

Still, intriguing.

 

Le me extremely disappointed.

 

Love these sculpts, gives me those "Studio Ox/Call of the Primitives" vibes...hope he gets em mass produced some day!

 

Not sure if there is already a thread for this, but this Weibo user has been posting photos of a Legends scaled Predaking design since March 2023, with 3 members so far, saying it will be selling it on Taobao soon. Claims "A well know designer in China brings us these creatures. He owns the brand 'Great Work Studio'."

Not familiar with Predaking designs, but does it look legit?

I feel like there was a thread on Razorclaw fairly recently but I don't think much info came from it. And why are there two versions of Razorclaw? I told myself to get all legends combiners so I may have to oblige

 

I do like that Tantrum - nobody so far has really caught the essence of it for me, usually changing the head or moving the bull head down behind the back, but this looks pretty good. Be interested to see the quality and how it scales with other legends.

 

According to the original post, there was feedback that Razorclaw was too big, so they made it smaller.

 

This is being designed by A17 (Weibo: Sina Visitor System) for Great Works Studio. Unlikely that it will become easily available for most western fans - which is unfortunate because I think it looks fantastic.

 

Maybe our friends @ShowZStore could look into it to see if it's viable

 

Wow, someone finally makes a G1 Predaking that doesn't look like a Spawn villain...

...And only sells it Out East. Such is life, I guess. Here's hoping this thing finds its way out our direction; I like it A LOT more than the CangToys version.
