    Ebay:
FT cut their price the last time, because dx9 was so much cheaper and came out the same time. Gabriel 100% affected TG then, and assuming this current dx9 reissue is still in stock, it would do again (no reason to think it'd be any different than last time).

But as it seems the Spotter/TG reissue thing is dead, it's pretty moot now

I'm seeing Gabriel on Taobao selling for 890 yuan ($129 USD/$178 CAD) plus shipping, which I expect would be $80-ish USD. Super-tempting.

EDIT: The package for Gabriel is 9.5kg, so Taobao shipping is 971 yuan ($141.00 USD)... shipping is more than the figure. So... much less tempting.

Cutting the price upon initial release, when they don't know for sure how popular the figure will be, is different than cutting the price now, when they have evidence that people were actually willing to pay over $600 for it. People were actually paying that freaking price! I'd be willing to bet that nowadays, $600 is the number they're paying attention to, not $180.

My first Gabriel was from TFsExpress and the shipping was more than the figure then.

Similar to other comments recently, my gut feeling is Bandit, Viper & Jester (w/combiner kibble) are not far from finished. Though I doubt very much we'll see any of them this year. Those ShowZ preorders that have gone up seem to suggest they may know more than they're letting on. I'm not suggesting they have a firm release date either though. But just that things are on the move.

And remember team - Fans Toys march to the beat of their own drum. They don't release info about anything unless it suits them. And they aren't fazed by the fandom begging & petitioning for release dates, pictures, renders, etc.

I personally wouldn't be surprised if we get a release date by the end of this year.

And as others have said, I think we'll see the last 2 Aerialbots released before Bandit.

Just my 2 cents worth s'all

This is the response from bbb when I asked if they were putting up preorders for Bandit because ShowZ had them this week.

Looks like we have a lot more painted prototypes than simple reveals. Next TFCon ought to be a reveal-fest!

I've listed the Aerialbots as "Test Shot" since they were in combined mode during the Oct 2022 reveal, but they may be better considered as 3d prints.

edit: added Fortificus Titanicus, or as I refer to it, FTFT. Thanks Marcelo

We are still waiting for release plans for Pipes and the new color figures, but it is reasonably possible that your entire red column could be moved to green by TFCon in October. In that case FT would need more figures to reach red for the July TFCon for release after October.

Shouldn’t Fortificus Titanicus be there, too?

I could be wrong... But I think this list isn't entirely correct.

bandit, viper and jester at best all are only 3D printed prototypes. There have been no test shots shown that I have seen. Again, I may be wrong. But I follow those threads daily and havn't seen them.

Doesn't even matter that much anyway. They are all a year or years out... Maybe 2027 for some based on the average of 4-5 years (more in the case of berserk) from silhouette tease to release. FT is just plain slow. Lately, though, about a year from showing the painted proto to release.

EDIT: I am checking through threads and correcting my post as I go

I think the "Optimus" inside Margh is in fact a 3d print, but I think you are correct about his "armor mode" being a render - and the vehicle mode is definitely a render.

Where there were non-render pics of Bandit's alt mode, I took that to mean it is a 3d print. Some of these fall through the cracks in this way (the Aerialbots bot mode and arm mode being a 3d print but their alt modes being a render, for instance). It's not perfect but more a soft gauge as to what stages each figure is at - and how long we can expect before they might release.

I had already correted my post to remove Margh and Pipes

As for print vs test shot. It is often hard to tell. But a test shot is when they start to actually test the tool (steel molds) and inject plastic. It is rare for anyone to primer paint a test shot because they need to see the flaws so they are often "clown" colored plastic. A grey physical proto is almost certainly a 3d print. Also, often times, it is subtle, but you can see build layers, such as on the chest of the Margh image you posted, that are definatly 3d print. I would say that if you can see diecast, it might actually be a primer painted test shot. Hard to tell... :)

Blaster and tapes, April and May, we think. But I believe Thomas repaints might come first?
