It's a two day affair, so probably more tomorrow, along with (for the Walmart con site) NECA and McFarlane/DC.

Thanks for the update there. Just saw your other posts on this as well. It so weird when they break things up like that.

Total truth! Got the guys I want. Only things I want now are Dead End, Mirage, and Sideswipe.
Well, it'll depend on if anything else GI Joe Classified comes out tomorrow. Almost bought Big Ben, but as big an Anglophile as I am, I can't put the budget towards a figure I don't care that much about on a secondary collecting hobby. Sticking to the list, baby! :p

Oddly, the figure I'm most excited to get is Retro (is that what we're calling it?) Hound. The others are really neat, but I while I've handled or had most original G1 molds, I've never touched hound (or a complete Wheeljack). It'll be nice to finally have one.

    And everything covered... thanks guys.

Premium paid off! Preordered 2 TC's from Walmart before pulse went GO... then tagged and bagged one with pulse just now for the fuck of it.

And paying 3 different times due to first timer impatience, premium just paid for itself,:lol

I wanted that Viper skull guy but he's gone!

Edit. Got it from Walmart. Which means it probably won't ship.

With the free shipping and reliability at getting exclusives / short packed items without driving around, for it's price it's a must have for any collector in regions it is availible. Been saying this for years.

Folks will spend far more on gas or stopping to get fast food, while on the figure hunt, plus have stress of hunting for narrow release windows, compared to just having a pre-order in the bag.

Anyone currently hunting for NECA Target Collector's con figures knows how it feels.

Part of me would love to get back into the retro line for the 84 guys, especially for the guys I didn't have, but I just can't put the money towards them right now. (I did get Bee and Gears on clearance.) Maybe once I finish my PWT/WFC/Legacy collection I can keep an eye out for the 50th anniversary collection.

That sucks! He was tempting, but not on the list sadly. I found myself slipping into thinking about extras and customs and I just had to find a way to stop myself!

This times a billion. If you ever plan on buying mainline TFs from Pulse more than like, a handful of times in a given calendar year (especially exclusives), you're really hurting yourself by not having Premium. The hour "Premium advantage" window (whenever they feel like remembering it's supposed to be a perk) and the free shipping are worth the price of admission. Case in point: I placed three orders today because I was waiting for Thundercracker to come in-stock: first for the G2 figures and Retro Hound, then I noticed Crasher had restocked so went back for her, then went back when Retro Thundercracker came available. That would've been probably half the price of Premium alone in shipping costs.

Yep. I spent so much in gas and time hunting all over DFW for Cosmos for two friends of mine that it actually wound up being less hassle and almost cheaper to just import them from someone on Reddit who was in the UK. The thrill of the hunt's fun and all, but what is your time worth?

Damn, didn't notice that Crasher was available until too late. Had her carted, but sold out before I got through checkout. :(

C'mon, Hasbro - give us another run!

I'm kind of reaching the end of my completisionist chug collecting. Of course for Legacy / Legacy Evo I'm getting the G1 guys not done and interesting new characters, decos of other molds, but I'm passing on more than I have in years (largely store exclusive redecos, like some of the buzworthy stuff). Also only going to get ROTB stuff on clearance aside from 1 or 2 molds.

I've started to do a kind of "core complete" G1 figure collection utilizing my original (restored!) G1 figures, G2 figures, KOs (some Dinobots, 90s combiner sets) and various reissues over the years. It isn't a cohesive "pure" G1 set by any stretch by design... tell me there is a better G1 Bumblebee mold deco than his G2 release.... but it's like my final frontier of collecting as I near 40.

I'll never stop collecting CHUG in general, but I'm not exactly going to be running to the store to pick up Legacy Year III Commander Class Energon Fattimus Prime.
