Which character are you guys most excited to see shine in Rotb? I'm personally most excited for Scourge, and the new take on Mirage.

 

Prime 100%. I love him. I loved the little we saw of him in Bumblebee and I can’t wait to see him return in full glory in a big tf film again. I’m so excited.

 

Nightbird, Battletrap, Arcee.

 

The Maximals and Predacons without a doubt. I mean seriously I didn't think we'd see them show up in the big screen anytime soon but here we are. A good way to (hopefully) out out some loves to BW fans like me who grew up with both factions.

 

The Maximals (Cheetor especially), Mirage, Arcee, and Nightbird.

I hope this movie is successful so that they continue with the Beast Wars. Autobots and Decepticons are nice and all but it’s time some of the other factions got to shine on the big screen.

The Maximals, especially Primal. It was Wheeljack until we saw his head.

 

"Excited" is not perhaps the right word for me, but I'm most interested to see the Maximals. I really hope they're more interesting and lively than the rumours made them out to be.

 

Nightbird. First time getting a Japanese car in the movies and it looks pretty sweet. The jetpack gimmick looks cool too. Seeing how there many odd design decisions in this film, I just hope her robot mode isn't janky.

I really hope her robot mode looks as good as the alt!

 

We’ve already seen it tho, no? That leaked concept art and her toy of course being pretty accurate to that leak. Obviously things can change but I think the basic look she has won’t change.

 

This concept isn't the greatest quality.



The general shapes look nice. It's just hard to tell if she's going to have random small parts all over her body like Mirage or is it going to be more cohesive? The only concerning thing I see from the concept is the legs are very thin and rectangular. Mirage has a bit of this problem where the lower legs just don't feel finished. Usually Transformers designs (even Bayformers) have some kind of armor to fill in the shape of the legs. It's just to make the proportions more humanoid (though exaggerated). Mirage's lower legs are very "robotic" in that sense. Almost feels human-made. Ironically, that would work for Nightbird but I don't think she's actually going to be built by humans in ROTB.



Edit: Staring at Mirage's legs, I can't tell if I don't like the aesthetic or I'm just not used it since I've never seen Transformers designed like this before. It's so strange. And the more I look at it, it seems like Mirage and Nightbird may have had the same concept artist. The rest of the designs don't have legs like this.

Battletrap. He so well designed.

 

Oh that concept art was real? I thought it was fan made.

 

I’m interested in them all but Prime and the Maximals are ones that I’m interested in the most.

It’s real, there was another that was fan made by Lazlow but not that one.
