For me, Dehya has been a convenient way to enable Melt Ganyu in the overworld. Her coordinated attack triggers line up nicely with Nahida's Tri-Karma procs to keep the Burn going for as long as I need it to.

Definitely not an ideal situation for her to be in, given her story prominence and popularity, but not completely useless to me. Fail-case is that her signature weapon was a good generalist piece, so I didn't feel bad about going all-in on that.

Hoping that, like Miko previously, Fontaine helps her disjointed kit at least make more sense, even if some of her mechanics are still a bit wonky.

 

A LOT is just straight up negative hype. I'll point out that a everyone that's mentioned that turned out working all right in the end didn't get the respect they reserve until much later and almost always after their banner ends. With Dehya, we're still on week 2?? That's not to say she's going to completely flip people's expectations but I didn't expect the people here at least to be so eager to jump on the negativity bandwagon for Dehya. (or maybe that's how it's always been and I simply forgot??)

NGL, the main reason I pulled Dehya is so I can ogle her because damn she looks good and I'd rather ogle her now than wait for who knows how long until RNG gifts one to me. If she turns out great later on, all the better but for me that's gravy. In the end, it's all about taking advantage of what the character has rather than banging your head over what the character doesn't and that applies to many Genshin characters that doesn't quite get the same limelight as others.

 

My problem, is that waifus don't actually work on me and the only guy I skipped so far is Al-Haitham because I kinda can't stand him lol. I need some hot husbands and Genshin is so stingy on them. I mean damn we're not gonna get another male archon ever since...we already goddamn got them.

While I prefer my ladies, I definitely agree that there needs to be more playable men in the game. If Bennett had a replacement, I'd have swapped him out ages ago heh. After Kaveh and Baizhu, there's only what - Neuvilette in Fontaine? Hoping the rumored Sumeru archer is an Eremite dude...

 

It's a shame that Genshin Sexguys petered off after Ayato, really. I mean Cyno and Tighnari are great but they're kinda youngish? But Tighnari and Cyno are college grads? I dunno man.

I'd be fine if Genshin did a femboy in a skirt or dress or something. I'm down for femmy crossdressing guys, but I also want sexmen too.

 

This is a first for me. A lot of people I’ve seen really love Haitham, myself included. What about him you can’t stand?

 

He's a know-it-all nerd who's right a lot of the time and hides things from people to further his own agenda.

I'd know because I'm getting out of that phase in my life lol.

 

It was kinda funny how in his story quest, not only did he instantly figure out the bad guy's plan as well as a way to stop it, but he also deduced that he could have done absolutely nothing and the whole collective consciousness thing would have defeated itself eventually. He only got involved because he knew he was going to be a target and he didn't want to be bothered with the inconvenience down the line.

I find that he's kind of a halfway mix between Lisa and Kayea. He's got her intelligence and dislike of doing anything that doesn't interest her while simultaneously putting their all into what they do like (I.E. the only censored thing that's happened in the game is still what Lisa did to that one Abyss Mage over a stolen library book and you can literally intimidate people by suggesting they've invoked her wrath), with Kayea's habit of screwing with people for his own amusement (his entire 'relationship' with his roommate).

Mika exists.

 

Ahh, I see. I guess I do see that tbh. I’ll have to continue further in the Archon Quest though, but I really like his gameplay. He’s one of my favorite five star units by far.

 

I think Mika’s more in the young male though. Speaking of femboys though, if Genshin ever collabed with Fate Grand Order, I’d love to see Astolfo be playable.  

 

I'm waiting for someone like SAO's Agil to show up. Or at least someone that looks older than tall frikkin bishounen. I want my bad-ass ojisan dammit.

Hard agree. I was so goddamn disappointed when Itto didn't get a new Hunk-Man model. It's like fuckin' why Hoyo.

 

Nah, Mika, Klee's just being a good girl and making sure that you're never out of a job.

 

So today I tried to claim a battle pass level, and it wouldn't let me. Apparently I hit 9,999 weapon crystals or something. I had to use some to level up a few of my "2nd-tier placeholder weapons" so I could grab the new ones.  

Of course, if they'd re-run Eula/her weapon WITHIN THE PAST YEAR I'd have used a zillion of them earlier to get SoBP to level 90...

 

Klee makes his job interesting!  

Not the biggest fan of his voice but I love how his playstyle looks. A Shenhe and Mika would be nice but I've already C6'ed the other 2 4* on the banner so it's a tough call when 2 out of 3 might be wasted. Kinda sucks to have so many C6 4*s at this point...or maybe not. Looks like I'll have to wait for the next banner (or livestream) to show up before deciding.

 

My personal copium at this point is that Varka is a 5-star Mika: a true master of all weaponry, and a FANTASTIC support for phys/Eula.

C1: Adds 10% to all previous buffs if applied to tall female, add additional 10% if Claymore. (tossing bone to help Dehya out, too---and Xinyan can take at least one of them)

I'm like around 400 or so after getting Beacon of the Reed Sea to 90. RIP my crystals.

 

David pretty much just doesn't Wish, so his characters have been maxed forever and his resources just stockpile. Even when he does finally start spending the Primos again, it'll just be to C6/R5 Eula, so he's still not going to need any of that stuff. I think the only time he'll need to spend those mats is if he finally gets his long-awaited Mona.
