In the news article, Iron Factory EX-71 is incorrectly listed as Springer, instead of Deathcobra.

(As much as I'd like to see an IF Springer....)

I detest the idea of another 3rd party devastator.
Why has mmc forsaken insectitrain for so long?

MMC/OC Ignus looks good too! Definitely ready for the next part of their Defensor after enjoying the first two so much.

Also, to any of the MMC associates who may read this: I will keep my word and purchase any combiner you make, even though it means I'll have two Devastators after this. Just give us Computron or Abominus or Menasor or Superion next...:lol

I'd like a Dinoking personally, or one of the combiners from RID2001 or UT

I will not give anyone other than FT money for another Devy. I don’t care if it takes 10 years to come out. I’m not in such a rush to spend money anyways. And having it be an all in one, does nothing for me — especially when I have 200 other TF’s with their accessories neatly stored. Having 6 more isn’t going to hurt me any.

I would also likely get XTB’s before MMC’s as well. If their Ultra Magnus is anything to go by, they are on FT levels now.

Lastly, aren’t both of MMC’s combiners “too small”? Or did MMC give them platform shoes to stand on so they’re as tall as the likes of Zeta Devy and XTB Menasor?

And it's always a compromise. Always. Either proportions will be off or articulation will be limited or scale will be off or transformation will be brutal. It's unavoidable. Props for trying though. It is a feat of engineering, even if the result is not ideal for display or posability.

Sure, why not! The more, the merrier! :)  I'd honestly buy any combiner they make at this point. Heck, I'd be okay with them taking another crack at Predaking if they wanted.

What part is janky to you? If it is the details and such these early prototypes are always like that and it will change.

Proditor is their Doubledealer, just labeled wrong on the list.

It is a repaint of their Powerglide, in theory they could make it work for combination with add-on parts but no indication at this point.

Only a cm or 2 taller than before, CW Devastator height, nowhere near Zeta.

This might shock you, but MMC only cares about their own product so scaling to other companies isn’t a priority. Considering their Combaticons have had multiple reissues and their Defensor team is selling well; it seems to be working for them.

Buy what you want for your collection, it’s a free market. There is no definitive universal scale.

And once again mostly old figures or reveals with nothing actually interesting or new.

I also see MMC is still stuck on Eris repaints/remolds being the only thing they show from their IF line.

Wait... is that a new version of XTB's Streetwise? WHY? I have one already and it's perfectly fine.

    I'm so confused

EDIT: OOOOOOHHHHH it's TINY. They're getting into the Legends market too huh? Can't blame them and it's a wise choice since nobody else is tackling that combiner yet. 3PMP really is on its way out, I guess. I can't blame XTB though, at this point almost every character has been done... they might as well explore an exit strategy.

FansHobby's stuff is amazing as usual, but they still didn't show me the one I REALLY want (and am GOING to buy no matter what) which is Tidal Wave. I'd also like to see a G2 tank Megs from them to complement their Gunfighter II.

FansToys showed us what we expected to see, nothing really new or exciting there. Well that's not exactly true, I was resolved to pass on their Scourge but I think I might bite. XTB's was nice but it might be time to replace it. I've enjoyed it for many years at this point. (I have the V1 with the more toyetic deco... it looks great but FT's really does look more like the movie)

Interesting that Vectron seems to NOT be vaporware, and that they're tackling a G1 Megatron... after every early 3P version seemingly being blown out the water by the MP (and its various KOs), there's room for a new version, much like MP44 was improved upon by Magic Square and Transform Element.

They weren't in the slideshow but the MT Seekers look good... Ramjet has the 'wrong' colored arms, yes, but I kind of like them BETTER. I'm wondering, though, if Thrust's wings can be positioned hip height. It's kind of weird how they chose to go for this hybrid toy/toon style, not sure if I'll bite since I'm decently happy with the ones I have already.

Why would ANYBODY give FT money for ANY combiner? They haven't proven they can successfully make one yet.

MMCs combiners ARE too small IMO, and the platform shoes don't make them Zeta sized. But some people are really, REALLY into the all-in-one engineering. Also, MMC's individual bot modes tend to rule.

I always figured they plan on doing all the combiners and they've established their own scale from the beginning.

If MMC's Constructicons have awesome botmodes that look the part with bright colors and G1 toy/toon infusion, and are well articulated, I'll happily buy them since Toyworld's still got me a fantastic-looking Devastator.

    Legends scale

So with the wind charger showing from NA could one safely assume a Tailgate remold? And perhaps a IDW remold to go with their fantastic IDW Cyclonus? Perhaps?

FT dropping a Scourge out of the blue is a thing, huh

If I hadn't lost most interest in Masterpiece collecting lately, I might.

A lack of IDW-inspired stuff suits me fine.

That is the least exciting Springer I've seen. Is he a retool of another toy/only turns into a chopper? Really easy skip either way.
