    that BWR Obsidian is immense!

He looks so well done, how does the vehicle mode hold up for show accuracy?

Cooking with plasme energy! Sounds like a Silverbolt TV Special, doesn't it.:D

This thing really could go either way. The Maximal's have won the surface war, but the PEC is in Obsidian's hands. And Obsidian doesn't have to beat the Maximal army. All he needs is the re-format in order to fulfill his "duty" to cyberton.
    Tense...

I want to get me some more Bmac toys as well. Love them, especcially because I saw the cartoons this year for the very first time. They never aired in the Netherlands way back then, and after the mega blockbuster from last year they released the two seasons on DVD.

It's closer than any of the others, though limited by the differences between the toy model and the show model. There's no cockpit on Obsidian's chest on the show for instance, and the helicopter has a flatter front section. In fact, the copters look nothing alike to be honest, and nothing but some remolding would have fixed that.

I need to get some screen captures and do a good side by side comparison. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow night, so I can see how close the toy is to the show depiction.

They had actually designed a larger show accurate Obsidian toy for BM, however it wasn't finished in time and the old was going to be used for Rotorbolt in the universe Wreckers comic hence why Rotorbolt looks like Obsidian's show appearence rather than his toy.

If the mold designs exists, it would be a perfect BM 10th anniversary toy.

You know Obsidian's cockpit can be rotated around in robot mode to hide the window and let his gun be used? it's still far from show acurate but a nice touch.

If this was an ordinary comic or a show on tv, it'd be obvious that which side wins one-sidedly *cough* the damn *cough* hippies *cough cough*

But now... you hold us all in anxiety. How's that feel, Shane?

That also looks like he's put on "final boss" mode XD

Cool, but that wouldn't work in my case. His gun broke off YEARS ago on mine.

I never really realised the mold wasn't show accurate, though. I'd be interested in seeing these comparison pics.

I guess I can't see all the differences either, so some nice comp. shots would be cool.
