Please forgive the photo quality. I don't have much of a camera, or photo booth, for these giants. I just wanted to demonstrate that genesis ACTUALLY can hold a pose with apocalypse overhead. And I just found that astounding! I'm glad, after 8 years, I finally own a version of this mold!

 

Can’t wait for mine. Should be here Monday. Apocalypse though, hopefully there’ll be another sale at some point down the road on BBTS. I’d pay $250 max for it.

 

I can tell you now that he is WORTH EVERY PENNY.

BBTS processed my order and had him out the door in 24h... I had emailed them asking if they could include my other loot pile item and he was already in fedex' hands before they replied to my email. I was expecting them to sit on my order for a week lol

I had gotten Gammadim when he was like 220 or so, but I could never bite on the 400 for OG, so I was pretty happy seeing the metallic v. with the extra head and all the leds for 250.

Put some metallic blue on his eyes and a white border wetslide.

 

Thinking about pulling the trigger on the metallic version. Are the joints improved from the original release? I used to own it but he was a little wobbly.

 

Too blingy IMHO. I thought I missed out, but now I am glad I got the regular version.

 

Not to necro this thread but I’m forever considering buying this and wanted to know what it looks like if you don’t partsform the rocket arm in alt mode. I know to be accurate to the game half the rocket splits into two pieces on the sides of the alt mode, but what does he look like if you keep the whole rocket together in ship mode? I think that’s my plan when I get him

This fella unboxed the newer reissue of the regular Genesis without the window opening and it includes both tanks.

 

I would recommend this for anyone thinking about it. I love both my Genesis and Gamma Dim (Guardian repaint). I keep thinking about adding the metallic repaint too, just don't have the extra money for repaints right now (prefer to buy new figures first while money is tight).

The original release a decade ago had one and the second released separately as an add-on, but to my knowledge all recent runs had both. I haven't actually bought recently to be able to say 100% though.

 

Guess they really want this stuff out of the warehouse.

does the metallic paint wear or chip off easier?
