Well in cybertron the animation models were based off of the toys. Maybe Animated was also based off the toys?
It's EASY to do that, and he still transforms just fine into vehicle mode: I'm going to look into the possibility of reshelling the mechanism into the right forearm, so the screws are on the inside of the arm. It doesn't look TOO difficult, but will take a little work.
How did you do that? All the pictures I've seen of the saw arm made it look like there were only 2 fingers on the right hand and they were pinching the blade...
I bought two leader Bulkheads. If you look at the screwholes, you can see he's got two left forearms. Although with a little work, I was able to reshell the grabby hand mechanism into a right forearm shell:

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I even reshelled the saw arm into a left forearm AND retained the gimmick functionality. Double Saw Bulkhead is for sale if anyone's interested.

man i was really considering on passing on leader bulkhead but the more video reviews i see of the guy the more i want him x__o hehehe
