FansToys announcing a new combiner before finishing Menasor and Superion would probably create the biggest 3rd party related shitstorm ever.  

 

I wonder if that means they will add the MMPR Monster that was included with that wave.

 

So I'm going to take a guess with this and the recent rumor of Deluxe Monster.

The next wave of Deluxe is going to be

Wild Force Red with Battlizer armor
MMPR Minotaur

 

I wonder if they would dare explain the release of the Battlized Wild Red and not include an actor portrait because "We're giving you all this other extra stuff and it won't cost out"

 

Sure would be a convenient way to leave it out!

 

Interested to see if/when Hasbro makes TMNT/MMPR 2 figures.

It looks like the TMNT's new Dimension X Ranger morphed forms could be repaints of existing Morphed TMNT, which probably helps Hasbro with the budget. (The TMNT also use their original morphed forms during the crossover.) This time, Casey Jones is morphed.

I love the Power Rangers' mutant dinosaur forms. I'd be all in on these.

It looks to me like we'd need 6 2 packs and one single release to complete this set. The main villain is Rita, who gets a Dimension X makeover.

 

I wish there was a fanstream or some kind of power ranger reveals coming up. With space silver and blue sentutian releasing we should be overdue for another deluxe reveal.

There might be some makeover for Rita in that pic - but it isnt a far cry from her mainline comic upgrade - as Mistress Vile

 

Yeah. The crossover comic is set in the Season 2 era though whereas the Mistress Vile stuff is set, I think, in the Rocky/Adam/Aisha era of what is technically an alternate timeline created by Shattered Grid?

 

Man, it seems like the more the PR comic goes on, the more pretentious it gets. I heard Zordon is not actually a good guy, and now this? BLEH!! What is Boom doing?

Yeah, I stopped reading the BOOM MMPR comics a while back after they brought back Evil Tommy/Lord Drakkon for the THIRD time. Like...I get the writer loves their evil version of Tommy, but the guy was seemingly dealt with twice and yet he keeps coming back and getting his powers back, too.
I liked the idea of Jason, Zack, and Trini being a secret group of Rangers with the whole "Peace Conference" as a cover and stuff, but the comics really kind of went off the rails after Shattered Grid with plot ideas.

 

Which is a shame because there was so much potential they could do with other PR series, but they really want to stick to that MMPR mountain.

 

So rumor tells that there will be some Power Ranger reveals March 14th.

So they confirmed the rumor of the missing Deluxe wave is Wild Force Red and Minotaur. Whether both of them will still release or release in the same wave, not sure.

 

Agreed, I guess liked it at the beginning, but every time I see images from this comic, I now sigh heavily. It just seems so out of touch with the franchise and the established characterizations of the various characters. Definitely trying to hard.

Excited to handle these. Amazon shipped the set out yesterday so I guess it’ll be here soonish
