Screws cut their own thread going into plastic, that sounds like a lot of trouble for no reason.

Unless you mean print the screw itself? Which would also be kinda pointless unless it was huge.

I'd be slightly worried about the cylindrical wall cracking outward, no?

Not going to happen unless the screw is too big or the walls are too thin. They don't mold threads into plastic toys, why print them?

Injection Molding vs 3dprinting, you can do weird shit with 3d printing

Toymakr3D designs threads into his figures. It's neat.

IIRC toymaker uses printed thumbscrews for easy adjustments on the joints, not threads on the normal metal screw connections.

There's no advantage to adding threads for metal screws into a 3D design, if anything it will make the connection weaker since you are removing material the screw bites into to make a solid connection.

Working on Something for my Jinbao Bruticus so he matches better with my Jinbao Devy with the 2.0 Upgrade kit, this should also bring them both to the same height. Wouldn't it make more sense to design and print the parts AFTER you have it figured out?

I think the individual might be using the slicer as a makeshift CAD software. Solus3D did that with their Metroplex.

I actually do what Nightstrike said, I am a model builder from the old era and this way having the vendingmachine as a visual I can track back to where bits need to go.

So I am not printing this yet, I am figuring it out in Prusaslicer, easiest to move bits around and visualize
