NA's Omega has some nice tricks under its sleeve, but I don't like some design decisions. For example, you have to break apart its legs to transform it, where Gabriel doesn't. I also don't like the overcomplicated tank transformation to give it a slightly more accurate turret. But the articulation is awesome. The electronics are nice for children's toys and dioramas, but I find them pretty useless here. Hell, I've never used the original Omega electronics again since I was ten.

Anyway, both designs are really good. You know you also have Pangu's Toys underscaled Gabriel as a third, space friendly, option.

very much so. these extra runs definitely show that the demand is still there. now that DX9 is kind of back and running on a larger scale again. hopefully this means they will finally do the guardian colors.

 

Got my Gabriel from BBB in the UK today… he’s big! Styrofoam took a bit of a battering but the figure looks ok. Will try to get a better experience in the coming days

 

What did you end up paying on shipping btw?

 

What decals are you all using on the rocket arm? Where does one get one big enough for it?

 

$39.68 USD by sea. i think they hit me with volumetric too. original warehouse weight was 7-8 kg but shipping weight was @ 15.4 kg. never had that happen before.. but im thinking the seller put the already large retail box into an even larger box

it arrived in port last week, itll take like 4-10 days to get through aussie customs and to my house. i saved $100 AUD vs say ordering from showz

 

Mine just arrived from Show.z in the UK. The finish is slightly different to my 1st release. The red on the head is quite a lot glossier and the grey has a bit of extra shine to it. Could just be that my original has faded slighty

For anyone wondering. It doesnt come with an alternate face

 

Mine should be arriving in the next couple of days, it's at a sorting center in the UK now, I'm so hyped, this will be my new biggest figure!
