Only news we really have is that all of the other uses of the base mold did some out and were pretty well received overall from what I've seen. I love my Hauler, at the very least. Hopefully it won't be long and the unique parts for Bulkhead work out smoothly.

So who is this guy? Is he an IDW character?

 

supposed to be a G1 inspired Bulkhead. I was hoping if they were going to go through with it they would go all out and give him his wrecking ball hand and all of those kinds of gimmicks. Not that I know the character at all, just what I've seen from images I've seen online, but I'm a sucker for anything military inspired, lol.

Hope it didn’t come off snarky, Bulkhead’s just been around for so long and in 2 of the most popular shows since G1/BW, I kinda figured most people would know about em.

But yeah, not Idw, started as a TF animated character who later went on to be in TF prime and had a legacy toy release this past year from Hasbro. Now XTB is making an odd “what if” G1 version of him.

 

Nah its cool. I *think* I've seen the character before now that you showed me those pics but not in an MP form like this figure. The Animated is the one I might have seen around but never knew who it was really. The MP figure looks like something out of G1 so that threw me off  

 

I really hope fore some alternate headsculpts.
I'm not buying this figure with a platypus head.

Agreed. All this time has passed and they are still sticking with a head that doesn't fit the rest of the design. Well, I'll buy it when TFSource does their severe price cut in six months.

 

It's too late for a G1 rendition headsculpt for this guy isn't it? If it's due March it's already done it's production run.

Love that alt mode, but the head is terrible!! Please convince them to make something G1 looking as an alternative - like the original fan art.

 

I think part of the problem is that the title of this thread includes "MP G1 Bulkhead". I am also not sure what the label "G1" is referring to.

 

I think the head is fine for a rendition attempt for g1 that never existed.

i just hope the jaw is muted silver like the box art depicts (not the whitish renders), and if we were to get any additional accessories, he really needs a wrecking ball hand. Really hope they considered that.
