Yeah, I initially passed on SS Grimlock when he showed up in my stores but seeing pics here and elsewhere broke me and he fortunately was restocked. Not playing fast-and-loose like that with the others.

Hopefully Bee is next. He's the only ROTB figure I preordered and its hard to see him sticking to the May 1st release date.

 

My Airrazor's delivery updated to tomorrow. Really hope at least Bee updates soon. From what I've heard, Battletrap can wait.

 

I think, because he's a new Decepticon and the first wave of these, it could go either way. He'll either shelf warm or sell like hot cakes. I'm not sure, yet. Just be ready to hit the button if need be.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if over time he becomes desirable not because of the character, but because he's not getting refreshed in another wave this year. But right now he'll be easy to get likely and maybe shelfwarm or sell well like you said.

 

I have it POd but I can wait for April since everyone who has Battletrap has issues with the transformation.

 

It's more that he doesn't want to tab. The hook for vehicle mode and the doors don't want to sit flush without assistance. He needs the wrecking ball for the hook and no amount of massaging fixes the gap in vehicle mode where the roof meets the doors.

I think the gap is intentional. Can't wait to see how the mainline handles Battletrap.

 

No, it's not intentional. Poor QC (tabs not wanting to stay in) and design decisions (not enough locking tabs).

We ended up returning our Battletrap because of how bad it turned out.

Looks like we really had to wait until March for Tarn and Scraphook, lol.
