whatever was left after years of being picked apart wouldn't be worth salvaging so they would have been crushed to make room for new stock. you aren't going to go to a salvage yard and easily pick up parts for a vehicle built in the 80's, let alone anything older.

Grimlock sold for $31.8 million at auction in 2020. Although it's not G1 looking but it's something. And it’s a bit older.

I cooouuld guess it would probably be even more difficult to find a G1 looking live-size Grimlock at the moment. Though probably cheaper if one could be found.

Yeah true, I hadn't thought that element of it all the way through. However, you can still buy parts, both original and after market, for this era of VW bugs in various places. Suffice it to say though, probably still not what I would put in the "affordable" category of real life G1 vehicles.

Last reveal we got was Margh in Oct 2022. It's been almost 4 months since that reveal, and before that was July for the upcoming releases.

We are hopefully due for a reveal soon. Painted Scourge prototype? Painted Aerialbots? New characters? I hope a Bumblebee isn't far behind Cliffjumper.

I expect we'll see another round of reveals, and an associated wave of preorders going up after TFCon, March 10-12.

Bad news, the 747 just went out of production 3 weeks ago. Boeing delivers last 747, saying goodbye to 'Queen of the Skies'
Hope you can get your deposit back on that thing. You'd be able to pay off at least half a FT-40 Fortress Maximus in 2026.

Happy to see that Parkour is confirmed for next in line. Just hoping he doesn't have to ship in a plain brown bag to keep Takara off the scent.

If the Chinese retailer reports of the Fort Max body being the end of this year have any chance of being true it would basically have to be shown physically in TFCon March. EDIT: They could technically still release it without showing it off ahead of time, but with how expensive it will likely be most people will need months to prepare for it.

Didn't Fanstoys promise all we would get from Berserk in 2023 would be an updated image? That was at the end of 2022 before Star Toys and their Blitzwing appeared and opened pre-orders.

I'm 99% sure that FT will pull some new Berserk images out of their keister at TF Con in March much the same way that FM-02 Margh suddenly appeared a month before XTB released their Ultra Magnus. There must always be some doubt that "maybe if i wait just a little longer, FT will have something better". Classic Fanstoys move.

And with both XTB and Vectron Labs (snicker) working on Devastator, I'm pretty sure that FT will gather the nerve to announce their own Constructicons prior to finishing off either Superion or Menasor. March 2023 sounds a little soon, but by TF Con Orlando this October it seems like a pretty sure thing.

Anything else that other companies are coming out with that FT needs to deflate with a competing announcement? More Headmasters to crush MakeToys' return? FT need to throw their hat into the Metroplex ring to scuttle LikeToys or Lewin?

Someone should tell them Iron Factory are doing Liokaiser. No need to mention it’s in Legends-scale…

We got a message in Oct 2022 that there would be "some update" in the next year. There was nothing specific about what extent said update would be. Predicting Berserk in March due to Star Toys is a good call. After it has been delayed for redesign at least twice I hope it will be a physical figure instead of just renders (what we got for the last redesign).

A third party panel where, for reasons I have never understood and will never understand, Fans Hobby gets the biggest pop of the panel.

I'm going to go ahead and shoot my shot and say that the last half of the year is going to be big for fans of Marauder and Ethereaon. The only thing that seems to be as far along as they are (from what's been shown) is Tube.
